carbon pricing doesn't actually do anything to help the environment, tech advancements actually do help the environment. so if you think the carbon tax is doing something then you are a part of the problem as to why we haven't met any of our climate goals.

You know what doesn't add up Mr. Liberal lover? The fact that it doesn't matter if a province puts their own carbon pricing in place. Because trudeau mandates the provinces MUST EQUAL the federal price, otherwise the federal carbon tax will be put in place. There is literally NO difference and NO incentive for a province to put anything in place. Unless you are Quebec. Then trudeaulets you do whatever the hell you want.

Climatechanbe is an issue GLOBALLY not just a canadian issue, we are the lowest carbon footprint in the WORLD and yet the carbon tax we pay is way too much that everything is becoming unaffordable.
That's not entirely true. Yes we have the lowest total carbon footprint at about 1.5% - 2% but we are also only 0.05% of the total population, so per capita we are one of the top carbon producers in the world.

In North Bay, ON I just paid $1.88 per litre for gas. My Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV is now $114 dollars for a tank of regular gas. I pay that every week to get to work.
