      ChatGPT:
      Guide bushings are cylindrical components that are commonly used in metal stamping dies to guide the punches and dies in the stamping process. These bushings are typically made of hardened steel or other materials that can withstand the high pressures and forces involved in metal stamping.
      In metal stamping, a metal sheet is placed between a punch and a die and is then subjected to high pressure. The punch and die move relative to each other, and the guide bushings help to ensure that this movement is precise and controlled. The guide bushings are positioned on the die and punch plates to guide and stabilize the punch as it descends to deform the metal sheet.
      Guide bushings are critical components of metal stamping dies, as they help to ensure that the stamped parts are produced with high accuracy and repeatability. Without guide bushings, the punch and die may move off-center or become misaligned, resulting in scrap parts, tool damage, and decreased production efficiency.
      In summary, guide bushings are primarily used in metal stamping dies to guide and stabilize the punch and die as they move relative to each other during the stamping process, ensuring accurate and repeatable production of stamped parts.

    Американцы: wow, very cool, amazing!
    Русские: не, ну прошлый век, открытая плавка, ручной труд. И это не подшипник, а втулка скольжения. В качестве замены смазки выступают графитовые вставки.
    Корейцы: занюхивают стопку водки парами цинка и пашут смену дальше.

    • @alexey3966
      @alexey3966 Рік тому

      Только вот я не понял , почему в якобы "безмаслянном" подшипнике снаружи и внутри делаются характерные кольцевые канавки с отверстием? Причем отверстие очень важным, раз ОТК его проверяет. Канавки такого вида - обычное дело на вкладышах подшипников скольжения. Ну а графитовые вставки ( мое предположение) нужны для более мягкого начала движения вала и малых оборотов, пока не сформировался масляный клин.

    • @volnii_kot

      В России до сих пор травятся при переплавке. Я 13 лет отработал на канальных печах и в этом видео мне понравилась горизонтальная отливка. У нас машины полунепрерывного вертикального литья с охлаждением кристализатора водой.
      Сам процесс отливки очень древний. Литье с миксера в кристализатор через графитовую втулку под сажей или простые латуни под флюсом с октоборатом натрия/калия
      Засоров в слитке на сложных сплавах просто тьма а сплавы типа СКА и ЖКС очень часто трещали да так что происходило полное разрушение слитка, и все это улетало в приямок литейной машины и то еще удовольствие было чистить эти прмямки. Так что корейцы молодцы. Работают на высокочастотках и передовая отливка

    • @alexey3966
      @alexey3966 Рік тому

      @@volnii_kot тогда зачем аналогичная канавка внутри втулки? Её видно на последних кадрах, где втулки упаковывают в коробки. Получаются, наружная и внутренняя канавки соединены отверстием. Это больше похоже на систему смазки.

    I saw one *GLARING* mistake. When the slugs were being oil impregnated, the operator immersed the rack of bearings into the oil at atmospheric pressure. When he withdrew them from a *drained* tank, that was when I realized that the company's 'institutional memory' was damaged. Items being oil impregnated should by put under vacuum *BEFORE* the impregnating oil is admitted into the vacuum vessel. Why? Because the head pressure of the oil is enough to cause the parts at the bottom of the vessel to be poorly impregnated with the oil, resin, wax, solvent, etc.
    Many people won't understand the difference, those of us that do simply shake our heads in disbelief.

      It's a bearing that typically does not require additional lubricant such as grease or flowing oil during operation. They are self-lubricating, and largely maintenance free from the factory. These particular ones aren't oil-FREE, they are just oil-LESS. Oil-free would be a dry bearing that only use graphite, PTFE (aka Teflon), or similar slick material.
      The black plugs you saw them install are graphite. The material is often brass or bronze which is softer and slicker than the steel or chromed shafts they likely will support.
      The oil dip you saw towards the end also impregnates the material when they drew down the vacuum. Think like a sponge absorbing water. That oil will slowly leak back out during use as the bearing wears, lubricating the friction areas.

      They are bearing for mega machines. The idea is the spinning hardened steel part the size of a car, doesn't spin directly in the steel housing the size of a house, because when it inevitably wears from spinning both would have to be replaced to high cost, this is instead inserted into the hole as a "liner" aka bearing so this brass part wears out first from normal wear and tear and can be replaced.

      @@Happy357mag If they were smart they would measure the first and last piece, if they are good ,the chance of a difference between them is likely very small and wouldn't matter.. even if they would differ a little, they get machined after.. If they had such a problem with they tolerances from forming, they would make a bigger form..
      So the guy measuring every piece was clearly just doing it because of the camera
