So glad she’s releasing more music it’s been so long
I was beginning to think she wasn't coming back!
Archxn Archxn agreed
true
Archxn Archxn yes
Goddamn 5-year hiatus schedule between albums
This song just reassures my love for La Roux.
Cristian GP truly a brilliant artist in this day and age where artistry has disappeared. So excited for this album.
She's so good 🙂
The 80’s have returned... It’s so retro vibe. Beautiful!
Yeah 😁
They've been returned, where have you been? Heck there's even a genra called 80s wave
@@DerpyDo A lot of those songs do not truly capture the sound and picture of the decade
@@canaconn2388 yeah it's just one genre the synthpop stuff
She comes back and does not disappoint, the wait was worth it
PablitoNtvg isn’t it!? I’m living for it
Queen is backkk
HECK YEAH! 😁😁😁😁
I'm sooo happy she's back!🤩🤩
Ditto
This song is so amazing I’m literally overwhelmed by it lol
Filius Dei rude
This give me a late 80s/ early 90s feeling. It reminds me a lot of the dance music that came out around that time and I like it.
seth mishne Early eighties. Come on! 🙄
this is an early Michael Jackson vibe to me. I hate to say it but I don't like her voice in this song. sounds too much like young Michael. well, I love her anyway. she's given me so much musical pleasure.
Early 80s.
When she makes a great song, she really hits right in the feels.
Producer: how much colour do you want in this video?
Elly: absolutely
Jon H hahahhahahahhahahha
Jon H accurate lmfaooooo
Elly: All of it
She's artsy 😉😁
Elly Jackson is my absolute favorite.. her voice is enchanting, her cadence, melody and vocals are out of this world...please continue to bless this world with your beautiful voice...
my morning poetry every day :)
When the bass kicks in :)
This song is a masterpiece and the 7 minute version is even more epic. Mouth-dropping without over doing it, I think that's what talent is.
Mouth "dropping"...?..more like mouth wide open..going "WTF" IS THIS CRAP!!!
@@Sykyk777 Are you 12? Because it would make sense.
2:16 When that shit kicks in and becomes a serious jammer, goddamn
My beautiful 80s androgynous queen. You're so talented
Queen
!!!!!!
She’s ridiculously underrated her voice and her 80s nostalgia but futuristic… this is the kind of music this generation needs… even my parents have become fans
It's extremely rare that I actually like every song on an artist's album, I can count them on one hand
but La Roux did it twice, every song in "Trouble in Paradise" and "Supervision" caught me off guard ( certain tracks more than others of course ).
so bravo, Mrs La Roux, bravo...
This song may be the best she has ever done. I liked it at first listen, but it gets better every time. I hope she keeps some of this new style on the rest of the album. I can't think of a better song, and I'm a huge fan. I love the music and I love the way she sings the song. The style is brilliant. AMAZING!!!
Exactly, I heard it in a radio during a drive, and loved it at first listen and wondered - what is this great 80s song and how did I never hear it in the past? And then you find that not all todays music is garbage, great song and it really has that fantastic 80s feel to it.
I think the best one was the bulletproof.
Normally I hate when a video I'm trying to watch starts with an ad, but I'm glad that the ad it started it with was this song & music video. Happy to discover new music. Absolute banger.
Fwosty Shrakes what ad was it lol?
@@Vbbv22 The ad was this very video
Wonderful! Real. Music. HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song feels like rainbows and skittles dancing inside my lungs!
P U U U R R R F E C T!!! 😍
This is some of her best work yet and it made me all kinds of emotional 🙌🏻😭
Shes back❤️
YES YOU GO LA ROUX! WE MISSED YOU
my new repeat song.
I have now reached a stage where a new La Roux song is an event. I silence the phone, I put on the big headset, I press play then close my eyes and ride the wave, whatever it is. This one didn't disappoint. Can't wait to see you on stage in Toronto and experience your voice live.
Philippe Gosselin amem
Me is the exactly same... except i don’t live in a country she will tour lol
I’m going to see them in Portland. Cannot WAIT! I’ve wanted to see La Roux for years
Philippe Gosselin amazing right
Yes!
yeah yeah yeah
Wham! meets Phoenix!
It’s such a beautiful song, with the signature La Roux sound that we know and love so much, yet it feels new. KEEP FEEDING US ELLY, we’re all gullible fools for you ❤️
This song has really grown on me the past few days. I'm in love with the groove, it's so funky! Also Elly's delivery is so infectious here.
I will be here of course! Merci La Roux. Love

Addicted to this song, Elly looks so good here too...
yaassssss
I just discovered this song and I love it so much. It's such an incredible groove. I wish there were an extended video to go with the extended version of the track so I could see Elly dancing along with it for seven minutes. Elly when you eventually tour with this album please play the extended version live!!!!!!!!!!!!
This released on my birthday so its my official birthday song, especially the second half
Happy birthday!!
Happy birthday friend!!
Same. HBD too!
Happy birthday
The Full version is even better.
Definitely is for sure 🕺
Feels like that version came first, flows a lot better
Love La Roux
this is exactly how i wanted to enter 2020
Agreed but this didn't age well lol.
Oh you gullible fool 😉
2024 here...
Missed you, La Roux! Your songs made part in a great time in my life... Glad you're back
Yes finally
It's kinda like Elton John meets George Michael. With female vocals lol
with tilda swinton's hair but still cool
David bowies physical style as well
I definitely see it
I used to think of Annie Lennox, because of the music style mostly
@@JishinimaTidehoshi I agree with you 101%, I see MAJOR Annie Lennox vibes in her, but La Roux as a group reminds me of the Eurythmics
Toto, Two Door Cinema Club, La Roux...infectious... thank you
🔥🔥🔥!
One of my goals in life is to see her performing this song live ! ❤️
Not a single filler on the entire album. Flawless. Bravo La Roux. No mean feat... Brilliant
isn't much better than what we expected?
Yes it is.
Party like it was end-80s. That's the feeling I got when I hear this wonderful song. Thanks, La Roux.
It's not her typical style & rhythm, I like it still.
Quingyuan miao. Its called reinvention and maturity in ones music
@@simonpatrickclarke1124 And you had to be so rude about it because..??
Kendra,I'm sorry if I came across rude, that was not my intention. Will you accept my apology?
Simon Clarke aww so friendly :D
La Roux, I love you so much!! Keep doing what you do! You are LITERALLY a QUEEN!!! 👏👏👏
OMG!!!😍❤❤❤👍
YES LA ROUX
OMG SHE BACC
Finally!! Started to wonder. Excellent way to start off 2020.
LOL
@@andziazach hahahahah
I was a gullible fool
Hahahahah

Primeiro a gente grita "QUE HINOOOO" depois a gente assiste
I'm not a gullible fool for going nuts for La Roux music.
Outstanding!!!!!!👏👏👍👍✌💓😍
This is an absolute tune
More of this, please!
Oh, Elly I love it! It's wonderful.
YAAAAASSS
This song has been on repeat all morning.... can only wait for the video too:))))
And suddenly, we're back to the 80's and it's FABULOUS! Amazing tune, congratulations for the photography team too, great color work.

♥
This is everything... makes me feel some kinda way and I vibe so hard 🤩 HELL YEAH
OMFG pinch myself La Roux is back!
Brazilians love you!
Hooray ! Lovely and bright and beautiful!
Love this sound.
Reminds of another Jackson I Iistened to a lot of in the 1980's.
Yes!! She’s still a thing!
I missed her so, so much
I’ve had this song on repeat since it came out.
Love it Elly. You look great!
whoz excited for the album?
long live la roux
My girl!!! Yessss🥰
worth the wait
3:40 onwards. SO good. Glad the spotify version is extended (7min)
Reminds me so much of WHAM! Awesome job! Hope all music is like this for the 2020s!
I hope her new album is as good as trouble in paradise !
This song tho 😱😱😱🥰
AMAZING!!! You are a genius!!!
Hope we will have more videos before album drops!
We miss you so much in Buenos Aires!
I like it!
Why would anyone dislike this??? No sense of good music!!! THIS IS MUSIC !!! Love you ELLY!! Thanks
because there is a full 2 min of BORING before anything really happens in the song. this is a huge mis-step for a lead single.
Everyone likes something different. Just because someone doesn't like this song doesn't mean they have bad taste. There's many different genres of music... some like classical, some like hip hop..
I love this song, I'm ready for the album, it's been 5 years!
I now have hope for the 2020s. Lets all make it a better fuckin' decade than the 2010s!
God I sure hope so 💯☝
this is gold
Absolutely loving the aesthetics
Excellent song! I just had it on repeat for an hour.
Newly discovered for me.
Thank God for autoplay.
i'M OBSESSED.
omg this is such a pleasant surprise
this is my new favorite song
I've been a fan since what... 2008??? Glad to hear from her.
I clicked so fast, my arm created a rift in the space-time-continuum next to my mousepad
