Excellent, Neale, as always. Mental health is such an important subject and I applaud you for meeting it in its own space again and again by featuring photographers for whom it’s a part of life. Bravo 👏🏼

Thanks Alex, you know me... it's such an important subject. Your study is next on my list now! :-) (The last weeks have been a busy time just keeping up with the podcasts, and you know me, I'm not one to use the B word usually!)

As always Neale, a very worthy & sensitive video. The images & words make it a real delight to watch. For the vast majority of us, photography is a solitary pursuit. So no shortage of time to think.

Thank you Pascal, appreciate your comments, and you've nailed the 'alone time' concept of what it is we do as photographers for a majority of the time.

After being involved in a head on car crash at 100 kph I was in a pretty bad way. My photography helped heal me mentally.

Sorry to hear that Tony, but it looks like the photography has played a part in the rehab. The solace, the peace, the everything, of making pictures.

Anything that helps, that can change your life for the better is essential for all our lives, but not just for the creator but the viewer. To enjoy these creations that come from inside the creators mind. Wonderful aperture into peoples visions, minds and healing with creativity and Photography. Wonderful Neale and lots of great images. Really enjoyed, so glad I’ve connected to your channel, podcast and creativity.

I have a little more of Ian's interview that I'll be featuring on the podcast in the future. He speaks so eloquently on this subject, as do all those featured. I would so love to attend one of Paul Sander's mindfulness days.

A valuable video for all of us who understand. Photography is a pressure valve to release the raw stresses and bruises of life. My camera is a constant companion. Thanks for this, Neale.

Thanks Andrew - you're entirely right about the pressure valve concept. I've personally found that the camera and local river wanderings, have been invaluable during this period.
