at 3:08 I'll often adjust my North South and take a grip on one or both hips to lock the opponent down, it works great for me, when I feel the time is right I'll transition to North South Choke with one arm and start to walk my other arm up as I slide back, I've been having great success with this one armed North South Choke ... now 57 year Old Brown Belt , Back issues so I'm training less than I used to these days
Oss. For back issues, try eating Curcuma capsule which is great for antiinflammatories. Stay healthy~oss
I'm a 46 year old white belt in my 6th or 7th month of bjj. What strikes me about watching this video is how efficient you all move. Something for me to think about next time I roll.
Be patient my brother is long journey but beautiful, take time to settle down the mind in order to flow !! But you will get there don’t force it let it be !!

This looks like alot of fun. I am an old guy who started not too long ago doing both BJJ and Judo. BJJ can be so much more chill.
Rick, what brand of belt do you wear?
I started jiu jitsu at 60. I'm a month shy of 61, and as a 3 stripe white belt, I'm rolling with guys less than half my age, and they're all respectful. We have a great time and I'm looking forward to rolling like an old guy for years to come.
How hard (in % terms) would you say you guys are going? Is it kind of a friendly flow roll?
