    Is that glue flexible? So that putting the top down won't rip it apart?

      I'm using Velcro tape with staples to hold Velcro to window and to soft top. With the window being lower than the soft top I am not too worried about waterproof issues. ill do the same as you with removing the lower part of the top to make sure drainage is all good.
      My 40 gauge, 2 yard roll of vinyl should be here from Amazon June first so ill be starting around that time. Nice repair but remove all that excess, lol.

    If it's glued on the sides, then where does the air go when you're cruising with the windows down? Would it not put a huge amount of pressure on that back window and tear it?

    • @sidewaysmiata583
      @sidewaysmiata583 8 років тому +1

      Well if you just have the windows down what is the point of a soft top, but you do make a point..

    • @3ugene0wnz
      @3ugene0wnz 8 років тому +1

      Haha I guess you're right. Sometimes you're not sure if it's going to start pissing down at any moment so its nice to have the option of driving top up, windows down.

      No he doesn't, I'm sure he'll find another Miata to fuck up. Maybe check some other channels if you like Miatas, or get one once you're old enough to drive.
