@@soyborne.bornmadeandundone1342 Going from guitar to keyboard has been interesting. I'm right handed but my left hand seems to be much farther ahead of my right on the piano because that's the fretting hand. Feels kinda counter-intuitive to have my dominant hand be worse at something that's essentially mirrored.
I want to say that Nintendo was releasing these games right before Christmas in the 1990s. My brothers would request to have them for their presents and this game in particular was played all throughout the night.
aw that's sweet! My brother and I used to play these together all the time. I think we had to take turns, and he would always get soooo far ahead of me XD
My conspiracy theory is that pianists multiply by mitosis.
I always thought a pianist and a viola made new ones, but I've never seen it done before so I'm just guessing.

Organs seem so complicated to play. All those pedals, combined with already knowing the keys from piano. Awesome work as always.

Awesome! I love DKC2. The percussion in this particular track more or less defines it, but you manage to capture that even without a percussion section. Anyway, I often show your videos to my piano students. I have one who really loves gaming.

I've been learning this song for a month now, specifically Aqare's arrangement of it. It's a lot of fun, but quite difficult. This makes at least 3 times now you've released an arrangement while I'm in the process of learning it, and it's always a joy to hear how others would play the song you're learning, so thank you!

Weekly releases coming, that's something to look forward to! It's off to quite a start, the combination of the piano and organ gives this performance quite a fascinating undercurrent.

A game about some apes on an island squabbling with some reptiles because they stole their bananas. Somehow some of the most beautiful soundtracks/aesthetics EVER. And this cover is WONDERFUL. Brings back so much of the that nostalgia, I feel like I’m playing it all over again 🙂👏🫶

I used a metronome I think! Many of them I did for this set, just to stay steady and make it easier to add another instrument :)

A time when I could lose myself in these colorful worlds full of lava and flying monkeys. I didn't realize how cool the bass rhythm was in this song! Gotta be much easier on logistics now having an organ at home instead of trying to film on another location.
muchhhh easier! I should be able to get a lot of projects done this way now :) I have discovered a software called Hauptwerk that basically lets you download sample sets of real organs around the world that were recorded just for that purpose. I used it in my next big project which is coming out at the beginning of next year!

God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
