One thing I have yet to see anyone address, which was does the jiggler valve go? Most cars that have the thermostat above the car, that thing is to be installed to the top. This clearly don't have a top since the thermostat itself is in a vertical position instead of horizontal.
I'm in the process of doing this job right now, getting the lower hose on after mounting the housing was a royal pain. I tried to put it on the hose and then mount it, could not do it.
just did this job mine was cracked in the same spot but my 13mm nuts holding the therm housing on were stripped so i had to break the plastic off to get at it with a pipe wrench
Is there ANY way to change that exact part out without a lift or getting under the car? I need to replace the exact same part. Thanks for the great video!
So I got all the bolts off but the the part is wedged I can only wiggle it but can’t remove it do the fan motor being in the way and don’t want to damage it by muscling it out any tips ?
