I find this funny bc environmental science is possibly the easiest of all of these! But you can tell you sort of figured out how hard they were and how much to study
Very good scores bro! I also took AP Calc AB and AP Physics C: Mechanics this year. I got a 5 on Calc and 4 on Physics, which is actually a bit disappointing, since I kinda messed up only in the multiple choice section, since they make it like 2 times harder while remaining the same time limit.
To be fair when I took apush I also memorized all the presidents but it actually did help me because I learned when they were in office and what happened during that time, so it was useful as a timeline for those last 2 centuries.
This was very funny lol. I’ve taken 12 AP exams now and gotten fives on all except csa, apush, and apes, where I got fours. I’m taking physics c mechanics and calculus bc next year as a senior though. Not excited lmao. Hopefully they teach us calc better idk.
Great job! This was my first year taking an ap test as a sophomore (which was psych) and I got a 5! Next year is bio, lang, and APUSH, and the only two I’m worried about is bio and lang. Do you have any tips for reading comprehension on the MCQs? cause that’s a major struggle for me. Im happy you did so well on your exams also!
Thanks! I also took psych my sophomore year and got a 5! Bio was pretty straightforward with the MCQs. Like psych, if you know the material, you'll know the answers based on the question. A lot of the time you don't even really have to know the graphs fully, just be able to know what they're trying to convey. For lang, because it's mostly focused on analysis of the speaker and the audience, make sure you allow the speaker's words to influence the tone as you're reading. I got caught up in how I thought the speaker was feeling at the beginning of a passage and would never stray from that, but a most of the time the passages on MCQs have many shifts. Hope this helps!
@@samuel.sm1th Wow thank you! We practiced some rhetorical analysis stuff this year, but my English teacher was on paternity leave for most of it, so I never understood much. Thank you! I’ll definitely do some practice texts and keep this in mind
@@samuel.sm1th And for bio, I’ll also keep this in mind! I heard it’s a lot of memorization, which wasn’t awful for psych this year because I was able to make connections and actually liked studying and learning more. I hope bio is similar, but I understand it’s a lot more complicated. Thanks for the advice and hope you do well in college!
Very nice! I just took APUSH and AP Psych and got double fives as a sophomore this year! I’m lowkey nervous for AP Lang next year though. I’m doing that along with AP Gov and AP chem.
My best advice for AP Lang is that you need to just think of ideas and main points fast, and settle with it. Practicing mock exams help a lot with the 2 hour writing session stamina. And just make sure you tie all of your points together to your original thesis by exploring different/niche sides about it, effective transitions help a lot with that (Cohesiveness is pretty key in the frqs). I hope your teacher teaches you well and good luck!
@@somerandomperson4586 saw this now as a look at my schedule holding AP Lit dispute me constantly telling the counselor I refuse to take it before schedules were made. Yeah I was taught all that. 1-2-0s were my consistency (Thesis related point-Evidence points-complexity point) my method of writing essays was just using the APUSH format because that one made sense to me and since I can't properly cite sources it's came as easier for me to write more and from what I saw more understandable
