I swear, when you showed the 574, I dam near shed a tear 😢. Those are my go to shoes which I have over 40 pair. However don't sleep on the Shando"s (hard to get with the dynasoft bottom) also the 5740's! Great video..
wow 40 pairs is impressive! Not too familiar with Shandos but looks like a good shoe for hiking. 57/40 are super clean indeed

Nike is so overrated in price and are uncomfortable i.e. Air Jordan's etc. The quality of the 574's as you stated are great, because they come I different widths, therefore NB cares 🤗. Shando means rogue in Japanese, these shoes are amazingly soft, similar to the XRCT lineup. However order a half size larger. The 57/40's, I have 4 pair so far, they're pretty comfy, I recommend these to fit in true to size.
I'm using gravity EX for insole to replce the nb997 shoes and my NIkE air jordan. its really soft and less pain beacus i'm 100KGS size 12

Bought a 990 V5 because I wanted a daily driver that I could wear with office clothes. I was surprised! Despite the very classic understated look their decadently comfortable. You do feel like a million dollars wearing this. I even made hour long walks with them and honestly, your back and knees will thank you ❤️

Great video, 997S is probably my 2nd fav NB in my collection for comfort (998 is no 1). I hate the 997H, way cheaper feeling and the midsole sucks and is just cheap foam. The Sport has Encap and Abzorb, which is used in their higher end models for a cheaper price.

@@cedXhouse Haven’t had a pair yet, they do look dope though. From reviews I’ve read they’re pretty firm and not very forgiving.
My favorite Nb is the 997 USA which is not shown here although 998 is more comfortable. Look wise I would actually compare the 997 to the air max 1 (my favorite Nike of all time)

Depends on your patience and taste but you cant go wrong with either one.
For me its the fuelcell Lerato and 2002R
I spent $170 at New Balance in Chicago for a pair of shoes and they refused to let me use their bathroom. Even tho' Im disabled and I told them that I had a 2 hour ride home on public transportation. They still wouldnt let me use their bathroom. I called the New Balance complaint line and gave them the details. Whether this is resolved or not, whether I receive an apology or not. Im never shopping at New Balance again.

I dont recommend because you need flat shoes for lifting. These shoes has an arc and made for giving you a lift for running
Use skate shoes for lifting if you can’t find purpose made lifting shoes, preferably skate shoes with hard soles like Vans Old Skools.
Imo 1500 is the most underrated.

I'd always rather pay more money for best quality and comfort when it comes to footwear. Even if less perceived value I find it's the better choice. Currently I have 993.

Tried 574s, but sadly I found them really ugly and wide for my feet unless you like 1980s styles or have wider feet. Reminded me of Vans skater shoes I had as a kid. Much prefer the 990v4 and 2002Rs, IMO they are a better mix of modern and vintage styling that works better for me. I think the v4s are the best 990 they've ever made by far.
keep in mind most 515s have a sown on N logo
I alwayd thought that nikes are nice but holy shit.....these NBs are the most well made sneakers of all brands. NB makes only limited models but they are all awesome.

997 made in USA is the best looking and king of new balance runners hence the many variations. 998 USA is the most comfortable. 997H looks and feels cheap compared to its USA counterpart stay away unless you really like the color way
