Nike is so overrated in price and are uncomfortable i.e. Air Jordan's etc. The quality of the 574's as you stated are great, because they come I different widths, therefore NB cares 🤗. Shando means rogue in Japanese, these shoes are amazingly soft, similar to the XRCT lineup. However order a half size larger. The 57/40's, I have 4 pair so far, they're pretty comfy, I recommend these to fit in true to size.

My favorite Nb is the 997 USA which is not shown here although 998 is more comfortable. Look wise I would actually compare the 997 to the air max 1 (my favorite Nike of all time)

Bought a 990 V5 because I wanted a daily driver that I could wear with office clothes. I was surprised! Despite the very classic understated look their decadently comfortable. You do feel like a million dollars wearing this. I even made hour long walks with them and honestly, your back and knees will thank you ❤️
I'd always rather pay more money for best quality and comfort when it comes to footwear. Even if less perceived value I find it's the better choice. Currently I have 993.

I alwayd thought that nikes are nice but holy shit.....these NBs are the most well made sneakers of all brands. NB makes only limited models but they are all awesome.
Tried 574s, but sadly I found them really ugly and wide for my feet unless you like 1980s styles or have wider feet. Reminded me of Vans skater shoes I had as a kid. Much prefer the 990v4 and 2002Rs, IMO they are a better mix of modern and vintage styling that works better for me. I think the v4s are the best 990 they've ever made by far.
You can’t go wrong with 990v5, my first pair of NB and love them. Got them at Nordstrom Rack for $50 lol there was another pair of Grey NB right next to them and I switched the price tags the $185 for the $50😂
997 made in USA is the best looking and king of new balance runners hence the many variations. 998 USA is the most comfortable. 997H looks and feels cheap compared to its USA counterpart stay away unless you really like the color way

I dont recommend because you need flat shoes for lifting. These shoes has an arc and made for giving you a lift for running
Use skate shoes for lifting if you can’t find purpose made lifting shoes, preferably skate shoes with hard soles like Vans Old Skools.
