Barstow: A BNSF Desert Oasis

A close look at the massive Barstow yard in May of 2012. It may be BNSF now, but it will always be the great Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe to me.

Just below where you are standing was the east end tower that is where. My dad worked as a dispatcher on the Needles Subdivision In 1958 to 76
