  • Welcome to Rusted Iron Ranch! In this video we cut some firewood with the Ferguson TED 20 and Saw Bench to test out the newly sharpened blade.

    excellent video showing just how useful the fergies can still be, nice disco as well cant say i've seen one in that colour

    Try a small flat block of wood under the bench it may be just not sitting properly on the ground my has a piece of 3x2 bolted to the back of the frame along the bottom of the bench also you can wind the arm with the winder to maybe get the belt to run correctly .

      Hi Alan, Not a bad idea with the block under it, might give it a better footprint, and yes definitely use the leveling box to true the belt. Thanks for watching!

    Is the saw attactment rare ?? i have never seen a ferguson one in the usa

      Hi Teresa, not in Aus it isn't. There are a few different designs though, this one being the british cordwood saw, and another was the Dearborn design which seems to be more common in the US. Thanks for watching!
