Oh my. These are beautiful. So glad I came across your video. Now to the blog to get all the information to make this. A great use for all my ink refillers!
Very lovely! I haven't done this technique for years, and when I did, I used food colouring. Now I have lots of bottled inks. Its time to do this again! Thank you very much!
I had a craft day with my grandsons making these cards. It was such fun. No two looked the same. I was left with a couple inked papers. I turned them in cards, note cards and book tags. Out of 2 paper and by the time I was done only a sliver of paper was leftover. In my recycling paper for future uses. Thanks for the share....ShaunaRae.
I am so glad that I did not stop searching and found your video. This is the best shaving cream technique video I have come across. Your cards are stunning! 💗
I love this.... Can't wait to do it myself, and use so many other colours, thank you so much xx P.s. you may not get to see this question;. But in case you do, do you think the shaving cream will eventually deteriate the card at all ??? like eat it away because of the chemicals in it ? 😬
Thank you for your comment. I still have the card that I made in this video, there is no deterioration in the card at all, it still looks as good today as it did 7 years ago!
What a great video to watch and really lovely cards. Thank you for sharing and a project my granddaughter can do together, she is only two but she loves creating things with me. x Thank you again for showing us your lovely talent x
Loved your tutorial - thank you. I tried this technique this morning without watching anything and it was a disaster - had no idea what I was doing. Your cards are absolutely stunning, so will go back and try again now that I know what to do. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm watching you from Sydney Australia.
Just decided to get out the shaving foam and give this a try. So glad I found your video. I think you explained and demonstrated this technique better than anyone else. The marbled effect is simply stunning! Thank you for the inspiration.
I have not used alcohol inks but since the shaving foam is waterbased they may not mix well and give the same effect. Let me know how it went if you try it - I would love to know :-)
LOL LOL, I just noticed the date you released this UA-cam. I'm only 4 1/2 years late. Hope you and yours are surviving Covid. What a changed world from 2016.
wear plastic gloves...hahahaha And use a plastic covering, or newspaper so you don't make a mess of your platform. Throwing away the paper towels right away...is a no-brainer. But your Table?
@@CindysCardCraftingCorner I'm going to try this technique with a bunch of 'senior citizens'. I'm not sure they could do as good a job as you have managed. But I am hoping to keep them mentally busy. Doing Art is priceless & satisfying. I HOPE to still be doing Art when I'm in my 90's :-)

My 5 grandsons are doing this technique today. So excited to share this with them. Thank you.
I love that you are sharing the technique with them, it is great fun - perfect for sharing with boys~!!!
The boys had a ball. They kept calling the shaving cream whipped cream. It was such a good time.

@@CindysCardCraftingCorner This is so addicting and so easy! I have already gone through 1 can of shaving cream! I just couldn’t stop.

I'm so glad!
What kind of ink did u use? I just love work, thanks for being helpful with you tips!
I used Stampin UP's Classic inks - they are a waterbased ink.
Nice video, what kind of paper did you use? Thanks
I used Stampin up's Basic White Card. It has a beautiful finish to the surface that takes details well. Hope this helps
@@CindysCardCraftingCorner Thank you very much
FABULOUS! CAN THIS BE DONE ON 100% COTTON FABRIC AND SILK?
I have never tried. You will probably have to wash it to fix the color. Let me know if you try 😊
Does it have to be reinkers or can I use normal bottles of ink❤
The ink I use is water based, so I guess if other inks are water based it should work - I would have a little experiment first.
This was a great technique! Can't wait to start this one!
thank you for taking the time to comment, it is a lot of fun!
If you to bigger swirls could you use a knife or something else?
Yes, I am sure that would give bigger swirls, I made mine smaller so I would get lots of detail on my piece of card
Lovely technique. But what kind of inkt are you using?
It is a water based ink from Stampin UP!
Thank tou
Very good video!!! THANKS so much for explaining it well!!!!

thank you :-)
Does it works with all inks ?
I have only used it on water-based inks, not sure what would happen with solvent or alcohol based ones
Nice.
thank you - glad you enjoyed the technique. I appreciate you taking the time to tell me 🙂
Can someone tell me what she is using for color? Is it ink? Thanks
Yes they are inks from Stampin UP
You can also use food coloring. Needs to be the liquid type, not the gel.
Whose ink do you use
i use ink from Stampin UP 😀
@@CindysCardCraftingCorner thank you Cindy.
Great. Vid
Thank you
You also think about wearing plastic handgloves😊😊
Good idea - thank you
There is no need to waste all the foam you scraped off...one can pull that through a stencil....😮
