Really great video & interview as always Bill! Can't wait for the Amiga 500 story but now also the C64 story!
David Murray of "The 8 Bit Guy" channel has also made several "history of..." videos for gaming computers and is currently working on one for the Amiga 1000 so it should pair nicely with the Caulfield's Amiga 500 documentary. I highly recommend that channel, in addition to this one of course!, for anyone who loves retro computing. Robin over at "8 Bit Show & Tell" is also a great guy and is more programming focused, but not necessarily in an over-your-head way. Also recommended!
Anyways, as I've said to many people, it's a shame that the management over at Commodore wasn't more supportive of their machine and its engineers or we might be talking about the brand new Amiga 7000 with 64 voices, 32 bit color, hundreds of on-screen sprites, 8 coprocessors and gigs of RAM instead of just dreaming about one. :( Luckily we all have great memories of the machine itself and the great things the programmers have been able to do with it over the years (even now!)
Agree 100% on those channel recommendations. Ars Technica also has a fantastic History of the Amiga series.
15:25 - I seem to remember that Stoo Cambridge of Sensible Software said he used Deluxe Paint to do the Megadrive versions of games

A500 was the best amiga model in my humble opinion..I have 3 of them and intend getting more..i just love this model of amiga and like having them around...Thank you amigabill for your video.

That background music on dave haynie's interview works well and was great in the last movie. I do think on the new 500 Story, a remix of this track could be fun.

I remember the clip from From Bedrooms To Billions (I think), that Bill showed at the start of this vid, where Ron said about working on the N64, and RJ interrupted, because he was shocked he didn't know that. lol
