Mini Altoids Survival Tin How small can you go?

I made a minature version of my altoids survival tin to see how small I could make it and still be useful in a survival situation. This could fit in a bag or tackle box easily or you could keep it in your pocket on a hike. Thanks for taking a look and let me know what you think. Could we go even smaller?

You really can fit a lot in an Altoids Smalls tin. I carry one in my pocket, along with a Leatherman Squirt on a paracord key fob, mask, and mini Bic. My kit has this: Spyderco Bug; Atom flashlight; J-Ray red lure as extra light; foil; water bag/tie; Micropur; toothpick; triple ointment; potassium iodide; micro spark wheel; Tinder-Quik; whistle; P-38; mirror; Fresnel; sugar-free gum (as possible tooth filling); 6″ x 2″ orange duct tape (taped to underside of tin) and 6″ x 1/2″ duct tape; 8″ electrical tape for waterproofing; reflective tape; safety pins; paper clips; tweezers; lanyard; ranger band. I have a small first aid kit in my pocketbook, but that could be lost in an emergency. Thanks for the video-enjoyed it!

This is a good one .. I use a Sucrets complete tin . It's deeper but shorter than an altoids tin . You can buy a broken Gerber Dime or mini leatherman and tale the arm off that has the knife and saw . It makes a good knife for a tin . This is the most practical mini altoid I've seen

Hello Matt maybe small but can still be useful. Again similar to what i said about the main tin video. Just to add. Those matches could be modified to increase burn time(up to 5mins) with little increase in bulk. Something like a neodymium magnet could be added as a way to make a improvised compass. Tape may fit inside via the "layered method" All the best from CR.

Back in the day Bayer aspirin came in tiny tins. You can still find them from time to time on eBay. They were a bit smaller than the baby Altoids tins. I use the baby Altoids tins for fish hooks, split shot sinkers, and extra fishing line. Two others I have filled with char cloth.

You could put some fish hooks an small sinkers on a piece of duct tape and stick that uder the lid.
