Love your videos, very informative and well explained. Is there a way to show a component in an assembly as transparent in a specific drawing view? I am using multiple COMB views and I don't necessarily want the transparent component in one view transparent in the next. The style state is just what I need, but the transparent component will not appear in the drawing.
Hi Dave...Is it possible to apply shading to one component (or sub-assembly) and shading with edges to another component (or sub-assembly) in the assembly mode using style state? Thanks
@@CADPLMGuyOk fine...I was working on an imported geometry where so many unnecessary edges were highlighted in the model... I tried to get rid of tht by using shading mode and found Ok but at the same time I wanted other parts in the assembly to be displayed in shading with edges for better clarity...So I was trying out by using this option of Style manager...Thanks for the reply..
Style States aren't supported for drawings. There are some Technical Committee meetings with the PTC Product Managers next week after LiveWorx. I'll ask Michael if there's a reason for that.
It is a well explained video. I have watched many of your videos. Thanks a lot. I am new in CREO. Started a weeks ago (but an expert in using Autodesk Inventor). Could you help me. Question-1: I would like to know how can I get the component(s) (part or sub-assembly) completely hidden. It would be useful down the road in creating some detail drawing views. Q2: I don't see tabs in the status bar despite I have a few appearances create.
Awesome video...short and full with information.
Thanks, Sandeep! I appreciate the feedback.
Great job!
can you please make a video on how to make the casing for an existing assembly like ing this case the gearbox?

Transparency is not supported for 2D drawing views.

What about going into Import Data Doctor and trying to delete the extraneous geometry?
Just what I needed. Thank you!
Glad to hear that, Kat!
Can we bring that same transparency style option done in asm to detailing

Hi
In this section, how can I bring style adjustments to the drawing environment.
You can’t
but how can you show this styles in to the drawing views??

I would recommend Simplified Reps if the intent is to use that in a drawing view.
oh too good now i can use this method in asm..tq
