    Sir
    The following error is occurring when I convert sheet metal stp file to sheet metal part when I select the flat surface
    Error = the part you are trying to convert to sheet metal does not have a uniform thickness. Cannot determinate face offset surface correspondence.
    Solution please...

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  4 роки тому +1

      It means, your step file doesn't have uniform thickness all around. Try with another part.

    While using drafting i have to always change third angle to first angle....inch to mm....etc....fond size....arrow size

      But flexible modeling in creo 3.0 sheetmetal is unavailable.

    Hii sir,
    How can I unbent model in creo 2.0?
    Is there any option for such kind of unbending?
    i have to unbend form but i can't do that In 2.0.
    So suggest me some another option for final result.

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  3 роки тому +1

      For creo parametric 2.0, go inside the sheet metal environment and first you cut all the forms using extrude. Now you recreate the same feature inside the sheet metal environment and flatten the part.

    Sir..... From forming to flat pattern we can't get actual blank for fabrication... Is it right?

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  3 роки тому +1

      It happens sometime. Flat pattern is just to calculate the overall size of the seat. If your sending your part for manufacturing, you must create the blank cut on your part.

    sir , how you select all forms to recognize form option. because i can't select all form surfaces, it's automatically deselect when i select other surface/forms.

    Sir usually part file have the extension prt .
    What's is iges,step file sir. How could create these files.what the purpose to create the part file with extension iges,step

    • @CADxTraining
      @CADxTraining  2 роки тому +1

      I think you are very new to this field. Don't worry, I am here to help you. There are multiple 3D software available in the market and every organisation use there own. The file generated by these software has different file extension and it cannot be opened in different software.
      For example if you create a part in solidworks, you cannot open it in Creo.
      In such cases we convert this solidworks file in step or IGES format which is a neutral file. This file you can open in any software but it loose the model tree.
      That means you can open any neutral part just to visualise it. So this is STEP and IGES file format. Hope you will get the idea.
