  • The LED Remote is a fully networked control center that is fun to use! This video explains what the different colors, error messages and flashing patterns on the LED Remote mean. You will also learn what the LED Remote displays when eBike Lock is set up.

    00:07 The five state of charge LEDs indicate the charge status of the eBike battery.
    00:11 A blue lit LED corresponds to 20% capacity, white lit LEDs to 10% capacity.
    00:17 The top LED indicates the maximum capacity.
    00:31 The lowest two LEDs light up orange when the eBike battery capacity is between 30% and 21%.
    00:43 The lowest LED lights up orange when the capacity of the eBike battery is between 20% and 11%.
    00:54 The lowest LED lights up red at 0% - 10%. At 0% it flashes red. The light reserve is still active but the motor will no longer support you.
    01:07 If the eBike battery is being charged, the topmost LED will flash.
    01:26 When the LED Remote is in pairing mode, the top LED pulses blue.
    01:45 Software updates are transferred in the background from the eBike Flow app to the LED Remote as soon as it is connected to the app.
    01:55 During the update, a green flashing of the battery level indicator shows the progress.
    02:12 Red flashing indicates functional failure, which should be checked immediately by a specialist dealer.
    02:23 Orange flashing riding mode LED indicates errors that should be checked by a specialist dealer as soon as possible.
    02:29 To find out details about the error you can ask your eBike dealer or just have a look at your eBike Flow app.
    02:39 Pressing the enter button will dismiss this type of error message.
    02:49 For eBikes with the smart system, you can easily set up the eBike Lock function via the settings.
    02:57 After eBike Lock has been set up, the LED Remote flashes white after power on until the digital key has been found on the smartphone.
    03:08 As soon as the digital key is recognized, eBike Lock is deactivated and the eBike can be ridden with motor assistance.
    03:16 A white flashing of the LEDs on power off shows that eBike Lock is active.

    Hoe stel ik de wielomtrek 2312 mm in voor mijn 29 inch banden ? De Kiox 300 gaat maar tot 2205 !

      Hi Johan, we kindly ask you to contact your nearest Bosch eBike Dealer. They can diagnose your eBike and request a modification to the programming from the Bike manufacturer if necessary, since it is the eBike manufacturer who decides the limits. You can find your closest dealer here:

    Brand new bike to the tune of £8.5k (Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLT 750 27.5). Update got to 54% and then failed. The display unit flashes orange a few times and then turns off. The bike connects to the app for a brief second then disconnects. it turns off. Pressing the enter key, like it says in the video, does not dismiss the error, it simply turns the display back off. Even tried reinstalling the app but that doesn't work (app version 1.15.7(1024)). The bike is dead in the water.

    Got orange flashing and just stays on have to turn on and off it’s brand new too

    I have the orange flashing after 1.9.5(81) update on my flow app but failed update on the bike itself. What can I do before going to the dealer? I'm not free during store open hours.
    Edit: I can't figure it out and there's nothing to be found on the internet. Am I really not going to be able to ride to work anymore just three months after having bought a €5.849 bike? I really should have stuck to driving like everybody else.

      exactly same thing with mine....stuck at 40% ,dead e bike and app still updates....after 1 day....

      @@manaros191 Just insane. I'm still in disbelief. I did the shameful ride to the dealer yesterday late afternoon (of course with no lights because the bike wouldn't turn on at all) and I will probably end up paying money for something that this multi billion dollar company never should have let happen. I'll pay it because my dealer can't help it either, but this really smells like a class action in the making.

      Hi Rafterman Howard, with the new version (1.9.5) we improved a connection issue that occurred between the eBike Flow app and some eBikes. This update will be rolled out gradually to our Android users starting immediately. In some cases, it may take a few days until the update is displayed in the Google Play Store. Before updating the system software of your eBike, please deactivate the eBike Lock function. Thank you for your patience. Your Bosch eBike Team

      @@boschebikesystems I have the same problem, the bike flashes orange 5 times after the update and turns off. Nothing can be done, now what? Some mockery in a bike for 6500 €!

      Hello maruda, 5 times orange flash means that the FOTA update via your app did not happen correctly, hence the software version is still 1.9.3. The latest one is 1.9.5. Please take your eBike to an authorised dealer and ask for a software update done via the diagnostic tool. Thank you. Your Bosch eBike team
