Various Short Visited Locations from 1991
    Volume 03
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of locations that I visited where not a lot of video footage was attained. Taken during 1991 we start off this volume with a visit to Barassie Station in Ayrshire, then a visit to Bristol Temple Meads Station. Staying on the Great Western the next visit is Denford near Hungerford and a quick visit to about 1.5 miles west of Newbury. Finally returning north to see Eastfield TMD in action outside Glasgow. I hope this video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.

47704 at Bristol Temple Meads is explained by the fact, in late 1990, it was ousted from Scotrail Express work, by class 158 express sprinters. 47704 was one of five to be transferred to Parcels, the others being 47703/6/12/7. It did, in late 1991, gain RES livery.

@@spompey All 16 47/7s did move south, 47714 being the first in March 1989.

3:02 That's spooky. I took my grandsons to Barrow Hill Roundhouse in Chesterfield a few weeks ago for a garden railway festival. 26 007 was doing the shuttle ride down the short branch. It was in immaculate Coal sector livery. That's the first time I've ever been hauled by either a 26 or 27.
