I really appreciate the intro, script, and cinematic vibes you brought to this video! I’ve watched hundreds of Seiko videos, and most of them just repeat specs and first impressions with basic wrist shots. This is the first time I’ve seen a well-made watch video that tells a real story. I also love the half-body shots where you show yourself wearing the watch-it really helps me visualize how that green dial would look with different outfits. Just subscribed! Thanks, man!

Excellent video and brilliant looking watch! My grail watch is the green Omega Seamaster Diver 300. Also looked into the Seiko SRPD61. Eventually decided to go with the Orient Sport Kano in green with a green rubber strap from Wristbuddys. Scratched the itch (for now).

Great video, dude. My SRPD has been off by only a second or two in a week, which is crazy. That said, it hasn’t fully scratched the itch for the original SKX.

Banger. I feel like Seiko stands on its own. A sub is a sub and 5kx is a 5kx. They are wholly different watches. And as you mentioned about accepting what you can have, it’s no different than accepting a 5kx for what it is. And without comparing it to another watch, the 5kx is a banger. Seiko can stand on its own heritage. The movement is accurate. Timeless design. It expresses a specific type of personality of those who wear it. I like seiko for seiko and not as like a replacement or more affordable option. I love my Seiko 5 55th anniversary and I don’t think of any other watch when I wear it. Love love love the content.
