Playstyle: Aggressive + Stealth + Fast Track (get to the WLF boat as quickly as possible [sub 1min 30secs])
◾ No Damage
◾ No NG+ Items
◾ No Ammo Farming
◾ Limited Resources
◾ All Game Sliders Locked on Grounded
Note: The Mall Infiltration encounter can be approached a million different ways. In this video, I show you the the fastest way to steal the WLF boat (sub 1min 30secs). The Last of Us Part II has a mode that allows players to replay specific encounters. I chose to replay all the encounters of the game using this mode, as opposed to posting the encounters captured from my NG+ walkthrough. So you will notice that none of my gear from NG+ was carried over in these videos. When you replay the encounters using the encounters mode on a higher difficulty level, they start you off with little to no resources for each encounter you select. The higher the difficulty you select, the less resources they start you off with. With that said, I will create a separate playlist for the encounters using NG+ weapons.

This is definitely the best method I've seen for doing this section. Even if you fail it, the game checkpoints you at the escalator so all you have to do is drop in the water and get on the boat.
Checkpoints at the elevator and then you’re stuck and can’t get the boat because there’s guys around you and by the boat who always see you when you jump.

I’m playing on grounded again and wasn’t getting that checkpoint at all. I know I got it in the past just a few months ago. Wtf
"all you have to do is get on the boat" you do know thats the part that no one can do right? that enemies spot you and headshot you soon as you get in the boat?
@@neondeadlights5014if you have enough health, you can take at least 3 shots while revving the boat which is enough time to get out. I always heal before this encounter because of that
they keep killing me RIGHT as i start the boat 😭

If you have a medkit, you need to heal up before getting on the boat. I don't think there's any way to avoid getting spotted and shot at once you're on the boat but you can survive it if you're not on low health.

I got it to work on low health just now and it’s hard I had to try it a few times but if u get the engine going…swerve while driving just a smidge…that’s what I did…barely made it but I got it

On remastered a guy camps it so I explosive arrow the two guys down there and smoke bomb the boat as I’m jumping, wastes a few resources especially on grounded+ but that was the only way I didn’t die on the boat.

You could have done it the same way without killing the first two and alerting anyone until you make it to the boat.
Yeah, you can do it without killing the first two enemies. However, on Grounded mode, it would have taken more time to get to the boat if I didn't alert the first two enemies. When you kill the first two enemies, all the remaining enemies are alerted and rush to that side of the mall. This basically gives you a clear path to get to the boat. If you do 100% stealth, all enemies remain at their original post - this makes the path slightly more challenging. Again, like you said, it is still very doable without killing the first two enemies. But it would just take a little more time. My goal in this fast method run was to get to the boat in less than 1min 30secs without taking damage.

Played this on remastered bro. Had to add a twist to mine by throwing a bottle to the area I was going to leave bc the guy would always be waiting there for me. Did the trick. Thanks for the push
Nope, strat doesn't work. Enemies are still right near the boat, headshotted as soon as i climb aboard.

Did it first try had to improvise with a smoke bomb at the base of the stairs but other wise it was smooth sailing, oh threw a bottle at the first guy to stun him stealth killed the guy next to him on his left then monkey see monkey do
