On my 2nd playthrough I found I like Ellie's gameplay situations more, but Abby's story and character more.
100% agree I actually think Abby is a great character the story just missused her but Ellie’s combat is amazing
Favorite part is Ellie trying to get to the boat Iin day 3 and has to use the water to evade the squad of WLF. INTENSE and amazing use of the environment

Neil and co purposefully put Abby in a hole character wise and had her dig herself out narrative wise. It really worked for me.
I wish Abby had as much variety as ellie. I feel like she shouldn't have to make shivs or have 2 fire options.
I agree with you 100%. People won't like this but the truth is that Abby and her father were the best and good characters in this story and Ellie comes after them but the worst and most selfish character in this story is Joel. Players love Joel because we see the story in the first part from his side, but if you watch what he did from the outside & what happened between him and Tommy, you will know that he caused the death of many people. The story wants to show you how Joel turned into a bad person after his daughter was killed but the players still see him as a good person

Your ability to defeat all the Stalkers in the first floor office building, using almost exclusively knife attacks, without EVER getting hit…. truly awesome

The detail in this game is crazy. On my 2nd play through I realized the clicker you kill at the beginning drops an artifact about run away wlf and they’re descriptions. Then the workbench scare happens and it matches the artifact to a T. Then if you read the artifact in the bedroom it verifies that it’s the same group of deserters. The fact that it’s a completely optional encounter and collectibles is amazing to me. 🔥
I really like how fluid your gameplay is, it’s almost cinematic. Like how you left the upgrade table jumpscare as it was instead of putting bombs down- because Ellie wouldn’t have known it would happen. So satisfying to watch 💖
Bro 37:15 that moment had me dead laughing. Otherwise I watch your gameplay pretty seriously. Ellie is a serious girl looking for revenge after all.
The fact that you can trace that guy step to step even point gun in sync with him shows how many times you have played this game.
And the enemy turns around when flash light was turned on shows how well made this game is. Usually enemies are blind to flash lights. This game has the most intelligent enemy AI that I have seen till now.

It's wild how Naughty Dog managed to make me feel every emotion under the sun while playing their games. Sometimes it builds up over time, and other times it's like a rollercoaster of feels. Their storytelling is on another level. That's why I've played this games multiple times and spent hours watching GamerAnh

Gameplay aside(which is always amazing) I like how this story, this game, makes me think about Kratos and Atreus. This otherwise full-blown villain of a man so angry at the world and causes so much devastation and then they have this child in their life that makes them want to be a better person even if it is hard to pretend those things never happened.
What I love about GamerANH's videos is that it's made immediately obvious to me how bad I am at The Last of Us (2). I watch the vids and think, how do I do such a terrible job at playing this game, when it's clearly very easy? I love this channel.

Wasted opportunity you never get the chance to interact with WLF members, IE, you stumble on these deserters who think Ellie is after them but all she wants is info on Abby and a cooler head prevails and tells Ellie which way to go cause the deserters say they're trying to escape Seattle.
I like that idea, and wish the game would give us such an option.

If your monitor has built in crosshair.... you can even take a dry erase marker and dot the middle of your screen. It's always on center
