For flaps while flying , you need flight modes, can set Elevator to flaps while in the air. Stops you from guessing what you might need on the ground

I landed mine like that on your final landing and both gear strut covers popped off. Almost no glue on them so if anyone gets this just check them. I used CA and got them glued back on and no issues now.
