I was about to say that in the comments, yeah he was like in mid air other characters would also survive if they also did that, or maybe is because Jin was in Devil form making it for him to survive kazuya's Rage art.
Thanks for your comments, I think Devil jin was strong enough to handle Devil kazuya rage art. And shows a easter egg that jin won't lose in the story. Did you know that Harada deleted devil jin 10 hit combos from tag 2 and grab counter I miss those moves. Can't believe harada did that to his own game I was Pissed off.
Jeremy McClanahan hi, Heihachi is the only character with three 10 hit combos in Tekken 7 and all characters 10 hit combos are missing in Tekken 7 like Nina , law.

there is an explanation for this... kazuya caught devil jin midair with his rage art... so it damages less... maybe it was planned to do 170 dmg and it did less cuz of that
Devil jin got hit by ground laser as well, The only thing that matter that Devil jin survived even tho its suppose to kill them. And the life bar disappeared. I understand your point.

That Rage Art was so OP that their Health Bars were like "nope".

He is the only person who has unlocked all the story mode bosses, just check out his channel you'll know.

Kazuyas rage art is devastating
That's why jin is tasked to find and kill kazuya in the secret cutscene/ending/easter egg.
Apparently, this Rage Art does around 400 dmg.

That must be a bug because health bars disappeared.
Life bar disappearing isn't a bug. As this move should kill you, life bars are scripted to disappear.
Makes sense because I killed him using akuma after he uses hit rage art

It is instant kill, but the damage was reduced because DJ was hit in air.
