Tekken 4 really was amazing. I just wish future games could've captured that same dark aesthetic and cool edgy vibe. Everything about T4 was just so fucking cool
The disrespect kazuya received from Namco's team, they brought him back in t4 just so that he can lose to both heihachi and jin.. Fortunately he beat Jin in chapter 1 of t8 and defeated heihachi in t7, also getting a draw against Akuma and killing azazel, quite a record.
Kazuya fucked up pretty much everybody in every Tekken game aside from T2 and recently T8 though. He's been a menace since day 1, doesn't mean he can't take an L here and there
@@alejandrobonilla3049 no he didn't.. the arena fight before hon Maru was the final, had kazuya won against heihachi he would have been the head of Mishima Zaibatsu and T5 organiser
It still doesn’t make any sense why would Heihachi take Kazuya to Jin if Kazuya lost it makes zero sense. Heihachi would only take Kazuya to Jin if Kazuya won the fight and he did. I mean after all Kazuya’s walkthrough and story is canon up until Jin’s story and ending come into play?
He agreed to take him to Jin if he won, but if he lost he would drain his power like he had been doing to Jin because Heihachi wants the devil power for himself. (This is also why he throws Kazuya off the cliff as a child in the first place, he had no need for him if he didn't possess the devil gene so it was a win win for him regardless) The reason Heihachi decided to put them both side by side in the same room I have no idea 😂. He's pretty good at coming up with evil schemes but when it comes to implementation he's pretty terrible ngl.
@@bandawin18 Yeah although makes you wonder why Kazumi even fell in love with Heihachi in the first place if she knew he was gonna turn evil anyway? Also I can see why Lars wanted to kill Heihachi during Tekken 6 and he probably would have done it if Alisa did not get in the way. Lars seems to have a soft spot for Alisa and I don’t blame him.
@@ricardomarquez7730 Kazumi is the source of the devil gene to begin with, it was Heihachi becoming evil that worried her, she already was 💀. This is one thing I don't like about T7's story, they shouldn't have tried to make Heihachi seem like a good guy, that mf has been a villain
@@bandawin18 I agree and besides Heihachi was always a villain especially during Tekken 7 things just turned grey for awhile. Yet it somehow all started with Heihachi betraying his own father Jinpachi which forced Kazumi’s hand and take action to stop Heihachi before he would bring the inevitable death and destruction she foresaw. Kazumi even had Akuma as a backup plan if she failed to stop Heihachi. I will admit it was one thing for her to tell Akuma to kill her own husband Heihachi but to even have Akuma kill Kazuya her own son is just so messed up. Then again I suppose Kazumi is a Mishima as well even though she was doing it for the good of the world or so she thought? I just wonder how the dlc story will pick up after the Tekken 8 story and explain how Heihachi came back from the dead. They may as well bring back Kazumi and any others who died.

There is some new information from the dlc Unforgotten Echoes for Tekken 8 that has shed some new light on the matter. It says that Kazuya won against Heihachi during Tekken 4.
How tf did kazuya lose to heihachi litterally ruining the story by saying its like they saying f*ck kazuya and making him appear to be some weak character when thats hardly the case
Because, Harada's favourite is Heihachi and the people's favourite is Jin so he had to bring Kazuya down, although he doesn't deserve it 😔 I can't believe they brought back Heihachi 😩 His comeback overshadowed even Jin's victory.
@@giaozi4983 kazuya trained much harder than jin ,heihachi and lars, kazuya been training his ass off to kill heihachi since he was a kid and he still isnt strong enough to win it doesnt make any sense.
Kazuya trained than other Mishimas doesn't mean he can't lose fights. Also remember he was in coma for almost 20 years in G-corporation or between Tekken 2 to 3 timeline. He may be loosen bit due to long time gap and also he is fighting the madlad heihachi who had been fighting this demons for long time. Just because kazuya wins one time against his dad doesn't mean he can't lose again until Tekken 7 only to rise up heihachi through resurrection in Tekken 8
Τhe voice actors genuinely give me goosebumps
Even the music give me the thrills with no words
The best tekken plot, the only time the three main mishimas faced off and were in the same room!
Also the darkest and edgiest story in the series imo
