Melrose is ADORABLE, such a romantic place where you would like to sip a cup of tea, looking at nature. Respect to English,Scottish are more hospitable and grounded. Loved those dated buildings, let alone your BnB, was fabulous. It is such a place where I would happily spend my vacation immersed in nature, architecture and people. What a lovely town Melrose is ... just beautiful! 🥰 I quickly took note of a place that was in the video called Ormiston Institute as there is a street in the town I live in the USA called Ormiston Street! Learning about the apple orchards planted by the monks back in the 1500's was really interesting to hear about as well because where I live is called The Apple Capitol of the World so orchards are an abundance around here .. I wonder now if any have been around as long as the ones the Monks in Melrose planted! 😄The B&B looks straight out of a movie or old novel .. it's stunning (the footage from the drone) and to hear from the owner and his stories was so wonderful. Your videos are so enjoyable, relaxing and educational .. getting to hear from the locals is such a bonus .. I do love that! ☺

Your excellent video had some shots of the Melrose Rugby Ground. It's there that the game of Sevens ( 7 a Side) Rugby was invented and where they still hold a festival weekend every year. Perhaps the most famous international sevens competition today is the Hong Kong Sevens which many of your Asian viewers may have heard about.

I live in Scotland and my favorite weekend activity is going to villages around Scotland. Near Melrose there's also a pretty small village called Biggar. I also love driving around the east coast to village called Dunbar, and St. Abbs. the Villages at Fife like Falklands, and Crail. Near the Soutwest Border are also pretty, villages at the Dumfries Galloway area. :D
