Thanks for keeping up updated on all parts of draning of the lake and surrounding streams be careful you don't step on any Cotton Mouths love your channel.
Hello, Family Cole and Jay. I just have a quick question. Knowing the doom these fish are facing, why are you not keeping them to eat? If you can't use them, I'm sure someone could. Maybe give them to a church to distribute to the hungry and needy. Just a good day. Hope you catch a line stretcher! 😊
I don't think these fish are doomed. These creeks are as low as they are going to get and this is the lowest they will probably be. I like the idea of releasing these ones so we will have something to go fish for while we wait on the main lake to come back up and be restocked
i managed to catch just 5 catfish yesterday evening off raybon road but it seems like that hurricane rain messed up all the fishing up here near jonesboro most of the water is pure black and alot of carp are dead its like the rain knocked all the oxygen out the water
2 questions.... 1. Will the lake completely dry up, or will there always be water in places? 2. Why are you not keeping the fish to eat? It is so unfortunate to toss them back knowing they will die a much worse death and be wasted, than being knocked on the noggin and become food. I imagine that there isn't a catch and bag limit in the lake right now. Bonus question...was it just the lighting, or were the bass pale compared to their normal color?
We are releasing these fish back into the creek because the creek is going to continue to hold water. This is as low as it is going to get and there is enough water to hold a stable population. We are releasing so we will have something to fish for close to home while we wait on the lake to return.
I really hope you start keeping them in that first creek you don't have to fish it out. but there needs to be a lot less in there. Or its going to die.
Everywhere has a fall turn over. Unfortunately that's when it gets tough in some places to catch em lol. Even Florida has fall turn overs in lakes and ponds.
Hi Cole, Jay, Cyprus and Summer Catch the big ones and take them home for the freezer. Nice looking fish. God bless and love yall ❤
I absolutely appreciate your efforts in your trips in all the creeks around the home lake. I know it's not the easiest thing to do. Thank You.
We are trying our best!

You bet! Thanks as always for the support!
A lot of good bass
That terrain looks like Draculas worst nightmare 😂
Cole, I like your reel. I think I have better feel with my finger on the line with a BaitCaster than a spinner reel 👍😎
It would be interesting if you could show videos of you fishing these same areas when the lake was full. Sort of before and after.
We have a ton of videos in these spots when the lake was full! Will try to get on it!
Why are they draining the lake and you said there going to fill it back up ??????
@iancameron198 draining it for renovations to the dam and shoreline. Fill up date is sometime in 2028
Great video some really nice bass cole that creek would probably be one to go catch some catfish
We plan to try the second creek for catfish soon!

I was wondering where I could score a pair of those line cutters like you're using.
There's some on the crappie magnet website!
Lake has been draining for quite some time now 😂😂😂. Not new news 😂😂
Would love to see you add some duck hunting videos. Maybe duck hunting catch and cook
We'll see how many get out here this year. Praying for some rain!

We are getting to the time of year that leafs become a problem.
Yeah they can definitely be tricky to fish around at times!

Maybe those fish can survive until the lake fills back up.
I USE TO LIVE AT GREERS FERRY ARKANSAS I FISHED GREERS FERRY LAKE
We're gonna head out there soon!
Any chance you’d share which mega bass spinner bait you were using? It looked nice and compact.
White python SV3!
@@COLE_and_JAY thank you!
Do the lakes in you're are turn over in fall like they do here in Wisconsin?
