Used to be you could buy porcupine quills, a light wire on one end as an eye to string the line through, then a small rubber band you fed the line through. Where it’s super sensitive but little resistance to the crappie. Crappie are very sensitive to any resistance. Which a jig pole with a very thin tip. It’s one way to increase bites! Anyone ever recall these? I haven’t seen them in years!
