Oh yes!!! This is a huge winner Tim!! Lovely summer cocktail!! You are amazing!! TIM!!! Much care friend!! I love these ingredients!! So happy to have a few bottles of BYRRH!! Some people see Byrrh as a Vermouth but it's quite different - to me anyway!! Hey I am going to immediately buy one of Vino's t-shirts!! 100%!! I love the care and generosity in our whisky/spirit community!! Cheers my good friend!! 🙂
CHRISTINE!!! Thank you so much!!! Byrrh is amazing!!! Byrrh is def NOT vermouth, although wine based. I think the quinine in there is what really sets it apart. CHEERS and Happy Friday to you my good friend!!!
Oh man, I ALMOST missed this one. I didn’t get my usual notification. Good thing I didn’t miss it because there is so much to love. Cocktail sounds great, I LOVE apple brandy, you look like a handsome beast in that shirt and I appreciate the shoutout. Who’s happier than this guy? Cheers my brother! 🥂
@@CoachVinoLLC COACH VINO!!! IKR!! What is up with these notifications!!! I thought it was just me!! I definitely think you'll love this!!! I hope you can get your hands on some Byrrh and try this!!! CHEERS to you my brother!!!
This looks like another great cocktail that I really want to try. I'm going to see if the bartender at my favorite watering hole has the ingredients to whip one of these up for me. Have never tried Byrrh, but I would like to. Thanks, Tim, and CHEERS to you my friend!!!
In terms of the American Revolutionary War, my two favorites were Baron Von Steuben and Marquis de Lafayette... Where I grew up was named after Lafayette... If the next town overs post office was located in their township and not next to my house, I would probably live in a town named after him... Was going to make this anyways, but have to now!
This is a great question!! The closest thing to it, IMO is Punt e mes. Byrrh is not quite a vermouth, and has a very distinct flavor. It had quinine in it, so it has a bitter AND fruity taste. Very interesting....
@@cardfan64 Great question. Byrrh is a French aperitif that has a blue/ blackberry flavor, but isn't sweet. It also contains quinine, so it has a bitter finish. Not quite a vermouth, and nothing tastes like it. Punt e Mes is the closest thing I can think of that even compares!!! I hope you can find some!!! CHEERS!!

If you can't find Byrrh is there a substitute?
You might be able to order it from France. I brought back a few bottle to Vancouver.
