Amen! I feel like that old violin! I am old now and you can not turn back time! You can only hold on to Jesus and pray He will take this old violin to heaven to live with Him when I die! I am God’s Old Violin and He will make me new again! I love you Jesus!🙏🙏♥️♥️🥰
I think this song is so beautiful and true. Three years ago this past Feb. I lost the love of my life. My husband pasted away. I feel like this old Violin. Johnny does this song just great.😢❤
I saw him sing in our town he was having heart issues went to our local hospital first. He came from hospital still sang but used a chair to set on now and again. He sang old violin he was and is one of the all time great singer song writers ever. God bless his memory!
The best songs are the ones that tell a story. They hit our hearts and make us remember them for years to come. So many crying in your beer songs. Life's sadness in such notes. Yes.
I know a Gentleman who lives in Maryland, by the name of Jimmy Passwater, and he used to play Bass for Johnny Paycheck way back in Johnny's much younger, and rowdier days. Now Jimmy has a Gospel Band in Maryland, and he also plays in Delaware every now and then as well.
Love this! Has been my favorite for years! Love this! I know how you feel Johnny! My strings are broken and can not be repaired! Thanks for a perfect song to describe me! Keep it going!!!🙏♥️😇♥️Marcie Sellers
Every time I hear this song it feels like it was written about my life and the things I have done and it gives me a lot to think about as I get older, but I can't undo some of them. I also believe that there was a reason why they were in there and maybe it made me stronger but I can't be for sertian but I know that it is done and I won't be able to make anything right about them and I will have to live with those decisions and I will have to justify them to only 2 people and the second one is me.
Now this is a for real Country Song.. Johnny sings a Story along with Beautiful Music in a way that touches my heart and soul and brings a tear to my eye..and makes me think about where I am in my life.. Johnny Paycheck was a True Country Artist, and he knew how to deliver a well written Country Song..
This is a great song, but David Allen Cole actually wrote this song with George Jones to record it but George was a no show. Then Johnny Paycheck showed up and they called David an asked him if Johnny could record it and he said, Johnny was one of favorite singers and he would be happy if johnny recorded it.an we are all so lucky he did.
I miss the sound of real country music . There so much trash coming out of Nashville country radio just plain sucks . Alan Jackson sang it so well " WHERE HAVE YOU GONE COUNTRY MUSIC " keep you're trash Nashville I won't buy it !
Paycheck had it together they just didn't give him a second thought
been listening to Johnny for years,I may be seventy,it doesn't mean I've grow up.. OR tired of these songs
