@@TDB2509 most that have won 3 generally have a ten year window,take hawthorn first win in 08 up to 15, Geelong early 2000s till 2011. Sydney is one side though that seems to just roll on and stay in the 8 the most consistent,they've been in and around since the 90s and I don't think have ever been out the 8 for more than a year. My side the Eagles seem to have a 5 to 6 year cycle,top then bottom grab the draft picks then premiership in 5 years then drop out again, which I'm ok with as long as they get that premiership

@@TDB2509 against Adelaide wasn't much once you see where they ended up after two seasons, against gws when they had the far easiest run leading into the final series showed when GWS hit the wall and THEN beating an aging cats side, I'd be more approving if they played someone like Collingwood or Carlton when both are at the top. You want amazing? Lions smashing the team of the century in Essendon then Collingwood in their backyard on top so f always travelling. Even hawks 3 flags were against interstate sides. Then I'd put Geelong's three above the tigers as around that 2010s period saints and Collingwood were great opposition

Sorry but Boltons shepherd on Mitch Robinson was at least 6-7 meters off the ball. Beaten in the end by Tigers class, but a few silly umpire oversights against the Lions like that contributed to Richmonds momentum at times. Not the greatest ump display tonight imo

Hipwood was bloody stupid in the first quarter. I dont know why so many people are having a go at Grimes and the umpires. Whether he dived or not is beside the point, he was given the opportunity to do so because of Hipwood's lapse of judgement.

I dont understand why people are calling this a steamroll. The lions handled the ball better and had more kicks for goal. They simply chocked under the pressure. The finished with 17 behinds. 17! If they had kicked 8 of those as goals then they would have won. Either someone payed off the team to throw the game or the lions need more to make it to more finals to deal with that kind of pressure.
Richmond's tackle pressure is arguably the best in comp. Also our defence took Brisbane supposed best player Charlie Cameron of the game. Some calls that should've been paid didn't for both sides. Richmond just moved the ball better and used their opportunities better
After half time it was a steamroll. Brisbane are pretenders, a bunch of arrogant wannabe youth guys. They had a crack early on but they were pressured out of the game. They didn’t choke, they just aren’t good enough.

Dusty threw the ball, in getting the ball out it cleared the ground, had the ball roll on the ground it would be a tap and would not be an issue!
