MANCHESTER UNITED Mate no one cares about soccer at the moment, we clicked on this vid to watch an AFL documentary and your over here boasting about soccer. We want to watch a game that real men and women play and don’t mess around being wimps. Your so stupid for commenting on this video and also stupid for thinking that there and 240+ countries in the world, there are on 195.
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C HA.. yep, the most popular sport on earth, riddled with match fixing, fans smuggling flares and weapons into games and tax-evading players and coaches.. no sport on earth is more political than 'the world game' you speak of and no sport on earth has fans who are disliked and ignored more than 'the world game'..
You have to hand it to Richmond supporters they went through 37 years of absolute rubbish.... I’ve felt with 20 and I’m going mad.... humility it’s all about humility
You don't appreciate the good times without the bad times. The bad times also help you respect opposition supporters going through the same times. It'll come!
Im a bombers fan and i tell you one thing, i can relate to richmond fans like never before. Our club is rubbish atm and dont know when our turn will come next. Been 20 years already and 16 with no finals win.
@@bergasms Spot on - As a member, I took my young son to games during the bad times after 2005 - we never left early, even when we got flogged - and yes, we were at THAT Geelong game at Marvel. Through tears after that game he asked me why we didn't leave early. I told him we stayed to the end because loyalty was important and that it will be so much sweeter one day when we win. I never gave that comment much thought after that until, on the day of the 2017 GF, he rang me from a GF party (a bit pissed, but he rang me right after the siren) and yelled down the phone 'Dad, you were right - being at all those bad losses DOES make it feel sweeter!' He was 20 years of age at the time and I told him that when we last won in 1980 I was his age. All good things come to those who wait. One of the nicest days of my life was the next day when he sat down with me and we watched 'Game Day' when Bachar Houli guested (what a champ) and then watched the replay over a few beers. A great weekend.
as a young bloke i felt very lucky to see nearly the whole 1980 season including the grand final, i was at a new school and met a couple of tigers fans, we joined the cheersquad and went to all the games, it was a magic season Richmond were dominant ,it felt so special, didnt think it would take so long to win another but the last 4 years have been a great ride.
After supporting and following and being a fan of The Richmond Tigers Football club since I was in Grade 4 (Thanks to my Grade Four School teacher who managed to brainwash a few of the students in their class including me to follow the Richmond Tigers. LOL!) I remember the wins the losses and Matthew Richardson leaving was absolute heart breaking, also with getting Ben Cousins (from what I remember, he had alot of problems the poor guy,) not making it to the grand final and 2016 was the lowest point of the Team, Club, Fans and everyone in the Richmond Tigers Football club, it was so gut wrenching. However I kept the faith, I kept praying and I kept on Believing in the team, The Richmond Tigers Football club, I knew that they will never give up, even when times are tough, losing one game to the next and winning another and of course the occasional draws, in 2017 all i wanted for Easter was a Richmond Tigers membership and that year was the most epic and insane year of my life, Richmond Tigers making it to the Grand final in 2017, I wasn't there in person but my mum let me decorate the family unit in Richmond colours with posters, banners, streamers and balloons, even the next door neighbour did the same thing and they are too are a Richmond fan and member. It was the best 2017 grand final ever, also I managed to watch The 2017 Preliminary final when they faced the Giants, me and my best friend who came with me to game, we sat behind the Richmond Tigers Cheer Squad and it was the most memorable and enjoyable and an insane football game ever. Richmond Tigers , thank you so very much for the 2017, 2019 and the 2020 grand final wins, I will still be there to support the amazing club ever. Thank you. 😊 😊 🐯🐯🐅🐅
I remember doing exactly that with my young son after the heartbreaker v. Essendon at a Dreamtime game, when Richo kicked what we thought was the winning goal but had a free kick and 50m paid against him instead. He was shattered.
I'm only just turned 20 but I've been watching the AFL since around 2005/06, and remember watching a lot of Collingwood vs Sydney Swans games on tv. I played for the Pottsville tigers. I remember the Richmond tigers being pretty bad back then, it was around 2016 they got their fight back. 👍
That guy was in the row in front of us at the 2019 prelim. He had this big tiger head strapped to his chest. Cool and friendly guy, and he did a great job energizing the fans around us.
I used to cop a lot of crap from my friends Before the 2017 grand final because I go for the tigers. And as we all know Richmond didn't win for 37 years.
Taylor was a Terrible Leader. He always goes missing in Big Games. He was a passenger in the 2017 AFL Grand Final. They should of sacked him years ago.
if i could go back in time, i am going back to those three weeks of finals. it was unbelievable. i will never forget 2017
Same. I was at all 3 finals and have forgotten some moments. :(
Also how bloody good was that win against WC
@@levipeterken4020 insane, im so hooked for the finals now. but brisbane will put richmond to the test.
@@acidicshow5258 BIg game

Richo...tears every time
Wish he was part of this today's roster, would be awesome to see him in the forward line with Dusty and Jack.
@@w.h648 Richo was awesome to watch back in the 00.
@Enigma 847 Mid 90's too.
That whole finals series plus the weeks following the grand final was probably the best time of my life
I am only 8 years old and I have been going for Richmond since I was a baby and Bacher Houli is my cuz go Tigers!!!!🐅🐅🐅🐅

My dad was 13 in 1980 and was 50 in 2017. He had a bad experience with Richmond for those 37 years.

We need redemption for '18. That was our year as well. Now we need it this year to make up for it..

Really great video
Was the best 30th birthday present
Its so good seeing richo smile after handing the cup over
Chilling
Who is here after they won the 2019 grand final?
Me! 😊 😊
I love this. Spine tingling stuff
Sad to see Ellis and Butler go
Looking forward to the 2019 edition...
Now we have the hunger to be relentless and unstoppable!! Lets keep going, this train hasn't stopped yet!!!
I was there. Most people I spoke to who were at the game think Rance should've won the Norm Smith. However every single player was amazing
Rance was best on in the first half but Bachar for mine, that goal he kicks on the run always gives me goosebumps with the roar behind it.
i have been a tiger my whole life and in my life i didnt think i would see this.
Hearing them in the huddle gives me goosebumps... love to see and more of these behind the action communication. It’s soo good
2022 CAN WEE.!??
I don't even follow Richmond and I'm crying...
I was going for Adelaide I was so sad but not crying sad
8:55 that was me for a month after the win lol 😂

Doubt anyone is gonna see this but what is the name of the song?
Please correct the spelling of “final”
Done. Thanks for the heads up.
I still think houli should of got the norm Smith very underrated player brains of the back line
Or Rance. They stood up when the heat was on in the first quarter and a half
