Thank you very much for your channel. If it had existed some 15 years ago ... I had to think a lot when I was young. Now, I have the most pronounced "entrances" and the hairstyle, I have to do with a hair dryer. It takes me a lot of time. I really like the hairstyle of the 1970s. With a slight droop of hair. I have only to congratulate your channel. And thanks for sharing. Greetings from Chile.

That's the hairstyle model I like. It costs me and it takes me a long time to do it. I would appreciate it if you can share how to comb it faster. Just the hairstyle. I have shorter hair and more steep entries but, I have something left. Hahaha.
Luis Felipe Contreras thank you so much for your kind words
Luis Felipe Contreras obviously because it is a completely different hairstyle and is cut differently to my own
I wouldn't be able to show you in a video
The only suggestions that I could make would be to slick your damp hair back
Find the parting on the middle right of your head.
Try drying it with a brush like I used in this video as it lets the air through the gaps to the hair, creating more volume on the sides and back. The brush is a vent brush.
I hope this helps because I've never had the 70s style I can say these suggestions from experience
So the suggestions are purely based on just looking at the pic and guessing how it was styled
I think it costs me the hairstyle for the very pronounced entries that I have on the forehead. That's why I helped with a hair dryer. But it takes a lot of time in the morning. I'm going to get a ventilation brush, as I use regular combs. Thanks for the suggestion.
Dear, I followed your advice. I bought the ventilation brush. It helps a lot but I noticed that it wetted the hair a lot and that was why I had problems when combing. Now every morning, I just moisten it, a little and I pass the ventilation comb. I do not use a fixative or hair wax. When leaving the shower, by obligation comb the hair together with the dryer to obviously dry and do the hairstyle. Moistening it every morning, I just keep my hair. It is easier. Thank you for your videos. They are of great help. Greetings from Chile.
good Frankly this style works well on you, You surely have a future in the middle of the hairdressing ^^ oh and i wish you have a blue blue blue christmas ;) thanks for this video
Mike graff 😂 😂 thanks for the comment
And you're welcome in regards to the video
Joseph Avo i have a question
You use a straightener to have hair so stiff or something like that? Because I have not yet found a miracle remedy against the ears and frizzies ^ ^ its would be of a great help to know what makes your hair irritating because they are perfect 😅
Mike graff
It honestly depends on the way your hair wants to grow
Mine sticks up around the ears if it's just a little too short to be combed behind my ears
Or if it's too long and not cut tight enough it sticks out and I fight to tuck it behind my ears
I don't use straighteners either
Joseph Avo ok thanks,I think that in any case one must already have a minimum hair done for these kinds of cuts, in any case you have enlighten me on some point and I thank you for that, good continuation I hope that we will have the " Opportunity to meet one day if ever I travel in america (from the depths of my little france I say goodnight) 🛌
♥️
I got the same issue in that same spot where it wants to part. I have a cow lick in the front and back
👍🏻
bro when i see your face u look the king of pop elvis
Lawrence Gaming he was the king of rock.
Actually your all wrong it’s rock n roll
King of pop XD
Maybe she talked about MJ (The King of Pop)
javooo javoooo
Love your videos man ! Bravo :) I sub you because I really enjoy your video about the fifties hairstyles :) See you man !
(I sing rockabilly)
Jbey
My hair is thick and wavy, any advice on how would I do this style ?
I always thought 68 was Elvis best look.
I'm bald now. But in the. 80s I would love to see this
are you from the UK or the US?
I like that you did this style and with the longer hair in front making the style your own rather then just re doing Elvis style to the letter if you get what I am saying to your?
RaisedUP2 thanks man appreciate your support
Glad you liked it
Why dont you do "Trouble with girls" Pomp ?
Wales 🏴?
Hey dude. Would wax work as an alternative to gel or nahh ??
Cinema101 yeah definitely
You have gorgeous hair and it seems to be cut very well. Do you cut it yourself?
RJ Carter no I don't cut it myself
I think that would be pretty much impossible for the complexity of the style
Yes, I'd think it would be hard, but some guys do cut their own hair. I was just curious.
RJ Carter I think they do more simplistic styles like undercuts where not every section needs to blend in like mine does
You may be correct. Have you ever done a flattop boogie? I used to have that style.
RJ Carter no I've never had one myself
Hii can you do the 70's Elvis hairstyle I've searched everywhere you're my last hope
Oh yes, that would be grat! But it´s hard to grow those sideburns...
Can you show how to do the pompadour elvis had in jailhouse rock
EthanMaclyn yeah sure
I'll give it a try after ive had a haircut-you need a shorter fringe than I have
Joseph Avo ok man sounds good thank you keep it up! I'll give ya a shout out to boost your channel if you want
EthanMaclyn thanks man, appreciate it
You should upload a video of your haircut without combing
Could you do the James dean pompadour hairstyle?
Jennifer Garcia probably yeah but I'd have to have a lot of length taken off as his hair was much shorter than elvis' hair
Joseph Avo okay thanks for replying hope for the future video
Ils auraient dû te mettre dans le filme d'Elvis Presley.
Post more videos
1 question... what is that thing sticking out of the ceiling?
Haha that's a lighting pull cord switch
@@joeavo6556 Hey Joe! Thanks for the reply. Didn't think I'd get one since this video is 5 years old. Lotta strange things in British houses. My wife stumbled on this video (we have youtube on the big screen) and at the very beginning I shouted out, THAT'S SOME GOOD KING CREOLE HAIR!".
@@CraigNewellShow well thank you both for watching, I hope you've enjoyed yourselves
can u do a Brian setzer messy trunk tut with hairspray
The Pomp King yeah probably man
I've never tried
Make a video when ya can I'd love to see u try it
The Pomp King sure man no worries
What was the brand name for the comb?
Estevan Zarza the brush is a denman and the comb is a cheap comb from a local shop
It's very easy to find one like it at most places
But you probably won't find the exact same one
Joseph Avo thank you for replying, also I looked up the comb and the problem is I live the U.S. and the comb is UK only and sold out but I found another one anyway.
Estevan Zarza ah good thanks for the comment
Joseph Avo also if you don't mind me asking what do asking for when you get a hair cut , I'm going for an Elvis 50s pomp.
Estevan Zarza it's a side part pompadour with a duck's ass or duck tail
Take pictures of elvis' hair with you it will help a lot
Why am I watching this
please do the King Creole, sideburns included?
the king creole hairstyle is exactly the same as the regular elvis pomp but without a ducks ass and no sideburns
Sorry to say but doesn't look nothing like exactly like 68 Comeback Special
I totally agree with you
I intend on remaking this video in the near future
I think the main problem was that my hair was cut for the 50s pompadour but I need it cut specifically for the 68 comeback
this is also why u should never do the Elvis pomp it effects your hair for life your hair will be wavy and part for several years till it finally stops
Your pomps do look like Elvis' and your face looks a lot like his too and one reason I think is because you're British and I think Elvis' family history was close to 100% British so his face had British looks. A lot of people from the southern U.S. have British last name's and ancestry more than people from the east coast or upper mid west with last name's like Jones, Jackson, Jefferson and Wilson as examples.
rockinron40 that's a really good point actually
He's not old enough to remember hair.
Nice
