Im currently using first Virtuoso on my PC since nov 19 and they never dissapoint. Works fine across ps4, ps5, oneplus 7 pro phone and my Sony XH90 android tv using headset dongle. I'll get this new one when it's become available in stock for my ps5.
Thank you for bringing up the shallow ear cups. I've been checking around reviews to try and find out if they improved on them from previous models, Quite upsetting to see they haven't fixed that issue or at least offer alternative earcups.
You can buy aftermarket, deeper ear pads on Amazon for the Virtuoso SE, and XT. The re iews suggest it's worth a try. Can always return them to amazon if they don't work out.
Just got my headphones now. They are VERY shallow and he understated this. Plus the headphones feel very light on the head and doesn't feel solid and safe on the head.
@@Brazil9000 I just ordered mine yesterday, they come in tomorrow. Can confirm the padding is really shallow for the stock of the headset but the audio quality is unmatched.
I have the white standard virtuoso and they truly are awesome. And these new ones seem even better! I just wish they had more color options for the XT.
These virtuoso RGB headsets are the first headsets that don't feel like theyre falling off my head due to the size. I've heard the size complaint a lot from guys but I think the size is perfect for us ladies :) so girls if youre looking for a really stylish headset with amazing quality sound and a good microphone - this is a super nice choice.
Got mine! Everything about it is great EXCEPT the bass. It lacks bass (at least for me). But overall, a very good headset for gaming / music. PS. The bluetooth and 2.4g connection is seemless. Once you turn on the bluetooth on this headset while it's connected to your PC, it connects within a second or two.
You may have to adjust the preset in the corsair application on PC. I think by default it's on the gaming mode but if you change the equalizer preset to direct audio it improves so I've heard
I am feeling the same, this is an amazing headset, right up until any kind of bass is expected. I sent back 2 of these thinking it was a fault somehow. But after 3 of them all the same its just sad. My 30$ cheapo gym headset out preforms these. Super clear but next to zero bass
Update: Awful, i will return them today. The ear cups are round as you know and i didn't think it would be a problem but it sure is. The ear cups make contact with different points of my ears (and i have average ears) and it presses against them, but in other areas they just float and it doesn't make a seal which feels soooo bad. Another HUGE issue is that your ear makes full contact with the driver wall and due to the clamping force your ears just hurt no joke.This is because of the very thin earcups (they look thick but they're an illusion). You could probably prevent your ears from touching the driver wall by buing thicker earcups for $20 but your ear woull still be squashed by the narrow whole of the circular earcup which is awful (maybe if you had really small eqrs these could work idk). I was surprised and disappointed of how bad these feel straight out of the box. I still tried the sound and out of the box they sound flat but just install the software and use the EQ and they sound great actually. But it doesn't matter at this point cause i can't wear this sh, so i am returning them today.
I’ve only had the virtuoso so I can’t compare the two. My personal opinion on them is the sound quality is good, but not necessarily great. On PC they are pretty damn great if tweaked with the EQ and Dolby, BUT if you connect to PS or Xbox the sound tends to not be the best because the settings tend to default and no way to set up the EQ on consoles as the settings aren’t saved when switching platforms. Comfort wise, the headset is super comfortable, but do get toasted playing for several hours in California weather.

I hear so much about the earcups and how shallow they are, and I have to admit, I do NOT like the stock earcups, but you can literally just swap them, now I would have preferred they add them in at this price point, but they are available, but my question is why is this never pointed out? 20$ and I have some memory foam cloth earcups that are 10mm deeper than stock, World of difference...
I have been using the RGB white for quite some time and have been very happy with them until I started having issues with them recently. Based on testing and an RMA, I think Atmos is to blame, though it worked fine for over a year... Maybe something in a new update freaked it out. These new ones are supposed to be officially Atmos compatible so I wonder what they changed to make them so versus the older models.
This is the clue of corsair - good quality.. i mean first impresion. But if you have something longer you see, that its a crap. 4 diferent things from corsair - with all of them had problem after few months. But you are still happy, that its softwere problem usually i had to change keyboard/mouse/ram/psu cos it was always some hardwere problem.
Can you save EQ's to the headset itself, to the dongle itself or both for use on console? Are there Wicked Cushions that can replace the earcups to be less shallow and to make the ears not touch the drivers? Does the headset have simultaneous bluetooth when using it wired or only while using the dongle? Can the RGB be turned off to make the battery last longer? Have Corair made this headset's mic less sensitive to mouth noises and background noise in the 3 years since this video? During the mic test in this video, I heard a little creaking of the mic, as if talking normally stresses the mic's capability to make the noise sound properly and not too loud. Are there popfilters that fit this headset's mic? Does it have an extention cable for the dongle? Since it's a premium headset, it should have active noise cancellation but it does not.
One of these days, someone will make the perfect wireless headset. Oval and deep ear cups, game/chat balance, bluetooth, noise cancelling mic, no RGB crap that drains battery, etc. Until then, I have to keep using astro a50's. They're the only comfy headset for my big head and ears, and game/chat balance buttons right there on the side. I do wish Astro would stop being weird by using 5ghz and just use 2.4ghz because it has way too often amounts of sound completely cutting out.
Yeah I need a new headset and I loved the Arctis Pro Wireless for everything except sound. The pro wireless has on headset game/chat adjustment like I love about the Astros but the Arctis sound TERRIBLE. While astro sounds cinematic and bassy while still being able to hear direction, the Arctis pro wireless sounded so tinny and like $30 Walmart headphones, even after messing with EQ. I love my Astro A50s as well except the battery that can't be changed and the look.
@@thebmxreviewer Yea I'll probably be sticking with my old astros until they completely stop working. Maybe Gen 5 will come out this year. The JBL quantum 800 is a headset with all the right features, if you turn off RGB for better battery life. Not sure how the sound will compare to astro.

I'm on the fence between DAC set ups like Sennheiser GSX 1000 and Steeleseries Pro +DAC. Can the Virtuoso XT compete with DAC'd setups? Wireless has never provided me enough volume power for my liking. Would have liked a bit more info when used wired.
Really depends on your use case, If you want better sound and less distortion at higher volumes you can get a dedicated non gamer amp and dac combo, futureproofing you if you want better headphones in the future
You are better off with Sennheiser GSX 1000 or the Creative Soundblaster G6 or X3 then buy a decent headphone not a gaming headset, SHP 9500 + vmoda boom pro, takstar pro 82/cooler master mh751, ath m40x, beyerdynamic dt770/880pro, sennheiser hd58x, 560s, pc38x etc.
Hi I own Corsair viruoso se and to be honest they are not that good sounding, I compair them to other headsets I own wirelesly and wired; Razer Black Shark v2 wireless, Steel series 7 wireless, Logitech 933 wireless , Sennheiser 1000GSX DAC and Sennheiser Game Ones and GSP 600s, Senneheiser HD 660s, Audio Technica x50s and 40s with big leather earpads using an IFI dac/amp or >JDS Labs ATOM. Also i just purchased the Logitech Pro wireless headset. I can tell you that the Corsair Vituoso is an awesome built headset but really lets you down in the audio department compaired to all the other combos/headsets I mentioned. I have to agree with the others that mention A DAC/amp combo and a decent wired headset is best. if you are intent on wireless Though Steel series, Logitech pro wirelesss and the Black shark v2 pro wireless heasets sound much better for gaming and maybe music listening too than the Corsair Viruoso XT. You can also check out Zeos review on youtube and Gear seekers reviews they will say the same about this Corsair headset. Its ok If you dont compair it to anything else but I assure you there are better options out there. Listening to music on the Corsair Viruoso sounds muddy no matter how you try to EQ it. Hope thats helpfull. I have the Penrose. They are utter shit. Plus: 1) Wireless quality with the dongle is relatively good, closer to wireless than with other headsets that claim to be hi-res wireless, but are actually only hi-res when wired. So-so: 1) The mic is meh. It's not bad, it's not good, it's just meh. Better than the one in this video, worse than Sennheiser Game ZERO. 2) Sound is flat and it has no EQ presets (***EDIT***: I didn't know this since it wasn't there on launch, but it looks like they did add presets). This might be a plus, depending on your preferences. (I do prefer a little bit more bass, which it's not at all capable of. Doesn't have that "oomf") Minuses: 1) Wireless connectivity is horrible, the range is not enough to reach the end of my corridor, and connection is often lost when too near walls, or with liquids/metals in the way. Terrible. 2) Battery life is 10~11 hours, charge time is 4~5 hours. 3) Weak plastic body and weak internal connections mean it breaks very easily. In fact, it has broken, that's why I'm here. Second time, from nothing. If you ever hold them in your hands, you'll understand. 4) Doesn't have LDAC, so only average quality over BT. 5) Oversized band. I don't know anyone with a bigger head than mine, and mine is still only barely big enough for the Penrose to seat on properly. It still bothers me sometimes whenever it moves a little.
If y'all still consider to upgrade the comfort by your own, then you definitely should buy some aftermarket ear padding, doesn't matter if its leather or velour. In my case I upgrade the normal Virtuoso with some velour earpads which are also twice as thick as the stock ones which you should completely forget about 'em cause they ain't made for human ears... Besides you will in all cases in general also upgrade the sound. I barely can say that you will get a much better base response if you consider to use it on pc at least over the USB C Kabel. Which also applys to the general sound of the Headset's drivers. If you gonna upgrade em with thicker ear cusion the sound stage won't just get better in base response, no, the sound stage itself is way more balanced in the mids and highs. You could potencially benefit of a wider soundstage in terms of listening to music, gaming or type of content consumption (in my oppinion) if you use the Headset like me on a Headphone AMP/DAC combo or stack. Then I could notice, how much potencial they barely thrown away which is kinda disappointing, because the base, like the drivers itself are really good and I'm sayin this simultaneously using the DT990 Pro and switching between the Virtuoso and the DT990 Pro

As someone that's currently using a Void Elite headset, I use my headset a lot for work and Teams calls and always got praises on the mic quality but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Virtuoso. I just don't know whether to go with the standard ones or the SE or the XT. Bluetooth isn't really that important to me, so I'm torn between the SE and the XT

I love my Virtuoso and would love the XT, but I'm getting tired of re-buying tech items every year. The XT looks like a great upgrade to the virtuoso but I might wait another iteration or two of the Virtuoso before buying again.
Get your next headset at Best Buy and get the protection plan, just take it back if or when yours "breaks". Just bought these and I'm covered for two years, all you need to pay is the next protection plan every two years.

I have similar headset. CORSAIR VIRTUOSO CARBON. For two years I was very happy. Then, iCUE stop working, only dongle can be detected. You can use them, sound and mike works on default settings. Windows resintalled, tested on 3 PC etc. Cheked many tips and tricks from support and other pages. Conclusion iCue is not supporting them currently, cant change RGB leds, cant change sound options - without configuration of sidetones headset is unsable for me. Another thing, eco leather on headband and ears dematerialized... Now its a pice of junk, looks like that and works like that. ps With corsair keyboards after 2years I also had many issues but its an another subject. All stuff looks great, works well, but only up to 2 years. I was a Corsair funboy, not anymore, its not a full premium product. Cheers.
Curious why your headset came from Brazil. ANATEL is a brazilian agency that regulates communications devices sold in Brazil. You can see the logo on the wireless dongle.
If anyone buys these , i suggest you not update the firmware as it is very buggy. I had several issues when i did this. Maybe it was jus me but i jus got a new set and did not update and everything is great.
This headset DOESN'T SWITCH automatically for me when I turn it on for my pc. I have to manually select the headset. The previous virtuoso does switch...any tips???

Just picked up the blackshark v2 pro last night. Debating if to return for these or keep the razers. I might buy them and compare them myself in my home. Gotta see if the extra 90-100 price tag is worth it. They do look amazing, but I gotta try out the sound and comfort.

It's sad that they went to the thicker mic because the basic virtuoso has one of the best mics I've ever heard in wireless. Of course they wouldn't use that mic for the XT. Nor would they add a 1/4 inch to the ear pads. Seriously, I would love to have been a fly on the wall when they designed this and see if someone asked these questions.
The SE and XT mic is better than the standard version (it was fix in a software update) and you can just buy new bigger ears pads if you want.. but personnaly it's not even that big of a deal like reviwer are saying. They are still very comfortable.
@@maximemajor2149 I tried both the HS80 and XT, and the HS wins on comfort. The XT didn't seal very well and my ears touched the drivers by just a bit. I really hope Corsair makes the HS the new flagship line because it's a better design IMO.

Arctis 7 will sound worst since they are 40mm drivers and only 40khz, but they are MUCH MUCH MUCH more comfortable, trust me I switched from the Virtuoso RGB SE to the Arctis Pro wireless (basically same frame and comfort as the Arctis 7) and it was a world of difference, I wouldn't switch back for anything! Arctis 7 are good and much much cheaper than these scam headsets

Can you change the preset on mobile? i heard that the preset was made for games in mind, and not music, so would be nice if you could change the preset on the mobile as well.
They say it’s compatible with Xbox, but when I use the 3.5mm, the mic is so sensitive that friends in my party can hear my game volume. Is there a way to fix this? Seems like it really can’t function properly on Xbox.
If you tryed the old virtuoso models, you would notice that the old se model is not as comftable as the new xt.... But okay. 7/10 for trying make a comparing between the two models.
iv just bought this headset and dolby atmos and for the life of me i cannot hear any difference in sound quality from my old voids, i can only tell when changing presets and thats it, i don't get what all the fuss is about i cant even tell what atmos does or supposed to do, ??????
I bought the standard virtuoso RGB wireless and I gotta say the audio quality is not good. It loud and rattling noise. It amplifies sounds I don’t care about and I can’t hear footsteps at all. Unless I’m no audio expert I just want plug and play so for me these are not working. Think I’ll send back and stay with my Logitech G935 wireless headset
@hgrenold bob That's the thing. I got a ROG Crosshair mobo the driver to work properly needs a Sonic Studio 3 and DTS app running to tune the audio. Using the dolby thing it's pointless to me.
@@Datttsnake I decide bought the SE version from amazon. Sorry but this XT version loss some features like accelerometer or 7.1 surround sound that previous version have plus it seems on this new model the battery die more quickly.
I bought Virtuoso SE expresso for just over a month (sale at around $135) and I am quite happy with it. I wish it could be more loud and pack more punch but for a gaming headset it's enough for me. But this new one gets even more expensive than the previous version. IMO $70 more is not worth it if Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth are the only differences.
They change a lot more than that. In addition to atmos and bluetooth they also have better earcup cushions, better headband cushion, less pressure on the top of your head, and drastically improved microphone. 70 extra bucks is easily worth it imo.
I'm stuck between the XT's or the JBL Quantum 800s... Another reviewer, DetroitFury swears by the JBL Q800s but the XT's look so damn good and premium! also the ease of Bluetooth is a plus. How would you compare the sound for competitive fps play between the JBL Quantum 800s and the Corsair XTs?
I dont have the JBL 800s but I did just get an xt, Coming from a G Pro X with upgraded earcups, it definitely has a major problem with fit but not comfort and during gameplay you dont get random noise from ur environment. I did find some 3rd party earcups that are thicker, hopefully that makes it fit better, but for sound, mic quality, and features, definitely a banger!

Just bought a pair of these today. Really had to tweak with the settings because at first the sound was... I guess weird? Soon as I enabled the Dolby Atmos it was a lot better and realized why these were so hyped up. Only downfall I really have so far is that the ear cups are super uncomfortable compared to my last headset which is the Turtle Beach Stealth 600. These almost kinda hurt my ears lol. Other than that , would recommend.

the only thing i disagree with this guy is the mic quality. The mic quality is the best out of any wireless headset. Its been stated by 3 other reviewers on UA-cam with live testing you can definitely tell how clear it is.
@@cesarnono13 JBL Quantum 800. I just got them and they feel nice :) Earlier i had G933 and G935. I have to say that JBL feels like a better choice if i have to compare these two against each other when it comes to sound and mic. And all my 3 Logitech had the same faults, the main power supply button stooped to work properly.. So i will never buy another headset from logitech again!

The TX is compatible with the ps5 you just got to switch it in the app on your pc to PlayStation connection.

I hear so much about the earcups and how shallow they are, and I have to admit, I do NOT like the stock earcups, but you can literally just swap them, now I would have preferred they add them in at this price point, but they are available, but my question is why is this never pointed out? 20$ and I have some memory foam cloth earcups that are 10mm deeper than stock, World of difference...
I have been using the RGB white for quite some time and have been very happy with them until I started having issues with them recently. Based on testing and an RMA, I think Atmos is to blame, though it worked fine for over a year... Maybe something in a new update freaked it out. These new ones are supposed to be officially Atmos compatible so I wonder what they changed to make them so versus the older models.
This is the clue of corsair - good quality.. i mean first impresion. But if you have something longer you see, that its a crap. 4 diferent things from corsair - with all of them had problem after few months. But you are still happy, that its softwere problem usually i had to change keyboard/mouse/ram/psu cos it was always some hardwere problem.
Can you save EQ's to the headset itself, to the dongle itself or both for use on console? Are there Wicked Cushions that can replace the earcups to be less shallow and to make the ears not touch the drivers? Does the headset have simultaneous bluetooth when using it wired or only while using the dongle? Can the RGB be turned off to make the battery last longer? Have Corair made this headset's mic less sensitive to mouth noises and background noise in the 3 years since this video? During the mic test in this video, I heard a little creaking of the mic, as if talking normally stresses the mic's capability to make the noise sound properly and not too loud. Are there popfilters that fit this headset's mic? Does it have an extention cable for the dongle? Since it's a premium headset, it should have active noise cancellation but it does not.

One of these days, someone will make the perfect wireless headset. Oval and deep ear cups, game/chat balance, bluetooth, noise cancelling mic, no RGB crap that drains battery, etc. Until then, I have to keep using astro a50's. They're the only comfy headset for my big head and ears, and game/chat balance buttons right there on the side. I do wish Astro would stop being weird by using 5ghz and just use 2.4ghz because it has way too often amounts of sound completely cutting out.
Yeah I need a new headset and I loved the Arctis Pro Wireless for everything except sound. The pro wireless has on headset game/chat adjustment like I love about the Astros but the Arctis sound TERRIBLE. While astro sounds cinematic and bassy while still being able to hear direction, the Arctis pro wireless sounded so tinny and like $30 Walmart headphones, even after messing with EQ. I love my Astro A50s as well except the battery that can't be changed and the look.
@@thebmxreviewer Yea I'll probably be sticking with my old astros until they completely stop working. Maybe Gen 5 will come out this year. The JBL quantum 800 is a headset with all the right features, if you turn off RGB for better battery life. Not sure how the sound will compare to astro.

I'm on the fence between DAC set ups like Sennheiser GSX 1000 and Steeleseries Pro +DAC. Can the Virtuoso XT compete with DAC'd setups? Wireless has never provided me enough volume power for my liking. Would have liked a bit more info when used wired.
Really depends on your use case,
If you want better sound and less distortion at higher volumes you can get a dedicated non gamer amp and dac combo, futureproofing you if you want better headphones in the future

You are better off with Sennheiser GSX 1000 or the Creative Soundblaster G6 or X3 then buy a decent headphone not a gaming headset, SHP 9500 + vmoda boom pro, takstar pro 82/cooler master mh751, ath m40x, beyerdynamic dt770/880pro, sennheiser hd58x, 560s, pc38x etc.
The combo that worked for me was the Schiit hel + Sennheiser PC38x. Great sound and plenty of power to drive any headphones.
Hi I own Corsair viruoso se and to be honest they are not that good sounding, I compair them to other headsets I own wirelesly and wired; Razer Black Shark v2 wireless, Steel series 7 wireless, Logitech 933 wireless , Sennheiser 1000GSX DAC and Sennheiser Game Ones and GSP 600s, Senneheiser HD 660s, Audio Technica x50s and 40s with big leather earpads using an IFI dac/amp or >JDS Labs ATOM. Also i just purchased the Logitech Pro wireless headset. I can tell you that the Corsair Vituoso is an awesome built headset but really lets you down in the audio department compaired to all the other combos/headsets I mentioned. I have to agree with the others that mention A DAC/amp combo and a decent wired headset is best. if you are intent on wireless Though Steel series, Logitech pro wirelesss and the Black shark v2 pro wireless heasets sound much better for gaming and maybe music listening too than the Corsair Viruoso XT. You can also check out Zeos review on youtube and Gear seekers reviews they will say the same about this Corsair headset. Its ok If you dont compair it to anything else but I assure you there are better options out there. Listening to music on the Corsair Viruoso sounds muddy no matter how you try to EQ it. Hope thats helpfull.

I have the Penrose. They are utter shit.
Plus:
1) Wireless quality with the dongle is relatively good, closer to wireless than with other headsets that claim to be hi-res wireless, but are actually only hi-res when wired.
So-so:
1) The mic is meh. It's not bad, it's not good, it's just meh. Better than the one in this video, worse than Sennheiser Game ZERO.
2) Sound is flat and it has no EQ presets (***EDIT***: I didn't know this since it wasn't there on launch, but it looks like they did add presets). This might be a plus, depending on your preferences. (I do prefer a little bit more bass, which it's not at all capable of. Doesn't have that "oomf")
Minuses:
1) Wireless connectivity is horrible, the range is not enough to reach the end of my corridor, and connection is often lost when too near walls, or with liquids/metals in the way. Terrible.
2) Battery life is 10~11 hours, charge time is 4~5 hours.
3) Weak plastic body and weak internal connections mean it breaks very easily. In fact, it has broken, that's why I'm here. Second time, from nothing. If you ever hold them in your hands, you'll understand.
4) Doesn't have LDAC, so only average quality over BT.
5) Oversized band. I don't know anyone with a bigger head than mine, and mine is still only barely big enough for the Penrose to seat on properly. It still bothers me sometimes whenever it moves a little.

If y'all still consider to upgrade the comfort by your own, then you definitely should buy some aftermarket ear padding, doesn't matter if its leather or velour. In my case I upgrade the normal Virtuoso with some velour earpads which are also twice as thick as the stock ones which you should completely forget about 'em cause they ain't made for human ears...
Besides you will in all cases in general also upgrade the sound. I barely can say that you will get a much better base response if you consider to use it on pc at least over the USB C Kabel. Which also applys to the general sound of the Headset's drivers. If you gonna upgrade em with thicker ear cusion the sound stage won't just get better in base response, no, the sound stage itself is way more balanced in the mids and highs. You could potencially benefit of a wider soundstage in terms of listening to music, gaming or type of content consumption (in my oppinion) if you use the Headset like me on a Headphone AMP/DAC combo or stack. Then I could notice, how much potencial they barely thrown away which is kinda disappointing, because the base, like the drivers itself are really good and I'm sayin this simultaneously using the DT990 Pro and switching between the Virtuoso and the DT990 Pro

As someone that's currently using a Void Elite headset, I use my headset a lot for work and Teams calls and always got praises on the mic quality but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Virtuoso. I just don't know whether to go with the standard ones or the SE or the XT. Bluetooth isn't really that important to me, so I'm torn between the SE and the XT

I love my Virtuoso and would love the XT, but I'm getting tired of re-buying tech items every year. The XT looks like a great upgrade to the virtuoso but I might wait another iteration or two of the Virtuoso before buying again.
Get your next headset at Best Buy and get the protection plan, just take it back if or when yours "breaks". Just bought these and I'm covered for two years, all you need to pay is the next protection plan every two years.

How would you describe the sound quality of the virtuoso? Planning on these over the XT
I have similar headset. CORSAIR VIRTUOSO CARBON. For two years I was very happy. Then, iCUE stop working, only dongle can be detected. You can use them, sound and mike works on default settings. Windows resintalled, tested on 3 PC etc. Cheked many tips and tricks from support and other pages. Conclusion iCue is not supporting them currently, cant change RGB leds, cant change sound options - without configuration of sidetones headset is unsable for me. Another thing, eco leather on headband and ears dematerialized... Now its a pice of junk, looks like that and works like that. ps With corsair keyboards after 2years I also had many issues but its an another subject. All stuff looks great, works well, but only up to 2 years. I was a Corsair funboy, not anymore, its not a full premium product. Cheers.

If anyone buys these , i suggest you not update the firmware as it is very buggy. I had several issues when i did this. Maybe it was jus me but i jus got a new set and did not update and everything is great.

Just picked up the blackshark v2 pro last night. Debating if to return for these or keep the razers. I might buy them and compare them myself in my home. Gotta see if the extra 90-100 price tag is worth it. They do look amazing, but I gotta try out the sound and comfort.

It's sad that they went to the thicker mic because the basic virtuoso has one of the best mics I've ever heard in wireless. Of course they wouldn't use that mic for the XT. Nor would they add a 1/4 inch to the ear pads. Seriously, I would love to have been a fly on the wall when they designed this and see if someone asked these questions.
The SE and XT mic is better than the standard version (it was fix in a software update) and you can just buy new bigger ears pads if you want.. but personnaly it's not even that big of a deal like reviwer are saying. They are still very comfortable.

@@maximemajor2149 I tried both the HS80 and XT, and the HS wins on comfort. The XT didn't seal very well and my ears touched the drivers by just a bit. I really hope Corsair makes the HS the new flagship line because it's a better design IMO.

Arctis 7 will sound worst since they are 40mm drivers and only 40khz, but they are MUCH MUCH MUCH more comfortable, trust me I switched from the Virtuoso RGB SE to the Arctis Pro wireless (basically same frame and comfort as the Arctis 7) and it was a world of difference, I wouldn't switch back for anything! Arctis 7 are good and much much cheaper than these scam headsets
I’d say try the Virtuoso XT and see how they feel for you. If they aren’t comfortable you can always return them.

I bought the standard virtuoso RGB wireless and I gotta say the audio quality is not good. It loud and rattling noise. It amplifies sounds I don’t care about and I can’t hear footsteps at all. Unless I’m no audio expert I just want plug and play so for me these are not working. Think I’ll send back and stay with my Logitech G935 wireless headset

I bought Virtuoso SE expresso for just over a month (sale at around $135) and I am quite happy with it. I wish it could be more loud and pack more punch but for a gaming headset it's enough for me. But this new one gets even more expensive than the previous version. IMO $70 more is not worth it if Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth are the only differences.
They change a lot more than that. In addition to atmos and bluetooth they also have better earcup cushions, better headband cushion, less pressure on the top of your head, and drastically improved microphone. 70 extra bucks is easily worth it imo.

I'm stuck between the XT's or the JBL Quantum 800s... Another reviewer, DetroitFury swears by the JBL Q800s but the XT's look so damn good and premium! also the ease of Bluetooth is a plus.

I dont have the JBL 800s but I did just get an xt, Coming from a G Pro X with upgraded earcups, it definitely has a major problem with fit but not comfort and during gameplay you dont get random noise from ur environment. I did find some 3rd party earcups that are thicker, hopefully that makes it fit better, but for sound, mic quality, and features, definitely a banger!

Just bought a pair of these today. Really had to tweak with the settings because at first the sound was... I guess weird? Soon as I enabled the Dolby Atmos it was a lot better and realized why these were so hyped up. Only downfall I really have so far is that the ear cups are super uncomfortable compared to my last headset which is the Turtle Beach Stealth 600. These almost kinda hurt my ears lol. Other than that , would recommend.
Oh and to add, It's insane how u can play audio from your phone and your pc at once. I find that nuts

the only thing i disagree with this guy is the mic quality. The mic quality is the best out of any wireless headset. Its been stated by 3 other reviewers on UA-cam with live testing you can definitely tell how clear it is.

I have to say that JBL feels like a better choice if i have to compare these two against each other when it comes to sound and mic. And all my 3 Logitech had the same faults, the main power supply button stooped to work properly.. So i will never buy another headset from logitech again!
