Went with the S24 Plus over the Ultra because of the design. S24 Plus needs better cameras.
did you run into any problems with the camera?
of course Ultra is an ULTRA it should be better including the camera.
@@reziee5897 I think the camera is the only thing it's better at, unless you count the S pen that hardly anyone ever uses. Otherwise, the specs are identical.
@@naseemspeach the biggest is that you can't switch lenses in 4k 60...
@@reziee5897but the s24 has the same shit ass camera since the 22, they need to make the plus as good as the ultra, except of the Zoom. And samsung will sell 2x more

May i know what is your camera settings?
I think the camera need an update after three years of the same camera lens . I would have like to seen a better 3x lens . That would be my only grip about the phone , besides that I think a winner .
Using THE S23+ for almost 9months. Perfect Phone perfect camera for me. No problems so far.

Hey man, love your stuff. I’ve got to ask, since you know what the S23+ is like in the long term, have you noticed any major differences between the 23+ audio speakers and the 24+? I ask because I had returned my 24+ last week and kept my 23+ due to the former lacking bass and depth. I’ve talked/read from others with the 24 series who have similar opinions, though many reviewers love the phone but don’t say much regarding audio output. Otherwise loved the phone, so many great upgrades.
It's so interesting that my experience as been totally different when comparing my S24 plus against my friend's s23 plus ... We both think the S24 plus sounds better . Oh well maybe it all come down to personal preferences.
@@jejunamjaI’m happy to hear that. Unfortunately for me the phone I had sounded very 2D and tinny for a lack of better terms, I just couldn’t enjoy listening to anything and some songs hurt my ears at mid to high volume. Going on the Samsung/Reddit forums the few posts I’ve found say similar things, I’m hoping Samsung might have sent a bad batch. Really happy to hear otherwise, the phone was really fun to use.
@@Wyattinous you know we put songs on both phones and listened to them and I think you're right I think the s23 sounds better before we just listen to stuff on apps I don't know why but I thought the s24 sounded better when using UA-cam anyway we put the same songs on both phones and we agree with you I think the s23 sounds better.... oh well... Hopefully they can fix it with software or maybe when the s25 comes out every phone has a problem it's just what you can live with.. All the best
I have the base S23, sometimes i wish that i had a higher resolution screen and a bigger battery. I hope samsung decides to add the 200mp main sensor in the S25+, then perhaps will the plus model make more sense
Good post with lots of great info. Having come from a P7 and a P8 Pro, have to say I've warmed up to the S24+. I think I still like the Pixel Launcher better overall, but the customizability of OneUI is quite useful and you get used to having two "options" for many things (Samsung and Google). One thing is for sure, the S series hardware is definitely better than either of the Pixels...processor performance, heat dissipation and battery life are all MUCH better on the S24+ than either of the Pixels. Camera is a *little* better on the P8 Pro, but the S24+ camera performance is more than enough for me.
I traded in the pixel 8 pro for this today..I'm hopin the battery is better with the S24 plus.
@@JB-1184 I'm getting 6-7 hrs screen on time consistently with the S24+...sometimes up to 8-9 hrs. With the P8Pro, it was closer to 5 hrs consistently and up to 7 hrs on occasion.
@@glstewart68 Thank you for the quick response and the great information. From what i've researched for a month is the S24+ is the better phone with better battery. This is good news as I like the samsung better after being with pixel for years.

S24+ because of size similiarity to A52s 5G, considerable upgrade from such phone, and no go for a boxy S24 Ultra.
Its a beautiful device for sure.
But I'll keep my Galaxy S23 Plus some more time, because many AI specs does come to the S23 Plus.
And i bought first the 256gb last year May.
At December i bought the Galaxy S23 Plus 512gb so i spend 2000€ and will buy this S24 Plus later this year.
Main reason is the QHD screen,battery,and the way it is build.
It looks great.

I still think that the Plus should have drop the rear camera of 50 to 108, and got rid of the 3 times zoom and had 5 times, still having 3 rear cameras not like the Ultra with 4.
Also not included with the S Pen for the Plus model, you could still you the S Pen.
This would have made the Plus have the best of some of the features of standard and Ultra model.
Please Samsung for the next S25 Ultra have 144Hz instead of 120Hz.

been using my s24 plus for two weeks , i just got nothing to complain. and mind you , we have exynos 2400 in our country.
Don't forget the slim bezels
The best feature of Pixel is voice to text. No other phone can beat it. Pixel is so much better in artificial intelligence. It is really the smartest phone.

depends on where your´re coming from..Im getting the s24+ coming from s22 Ultra..so yeah..
I have s24plus exynos.i only got this phone as I have tab s9 fe . But it's great phone. With constant 8-9;hours sot. Great camera and the best design. The s24 ultra has the worse design out of all the ultras or notes. It'd always been boxy but having a flat display with no curve is uncomfortable. If I hadn't lost s23 ultra I would have kept it forever

What would you say will be better for making office talking head videos? S24+plus or an iphone?
The reason why the Plus model has sales of the Ultra or standard is that most UA-cam video have more videos of the Altra and Standard model, which is great same, and the deals available.
My dies to fast even having the save mode battery
I actually chose the regular S24 for it's smaller frame.
What if it causes green line issue? Samsung is not guaranteeing screen replacement.
Was thinking about s24+, but OnePlus 12 won my vote.

@@virusdetected6395 well, the main issue with pixel phones is their exynos based processor, that's what would give the edge to a Samsung phone over it, considering that the pixel 8 is now cheaper than the s24 outside the US but the s24 has exynos processor then the pixel 8 is a better buy
My s20 has better display than all of these, like WTF Samsung😂 They downgraded to 2019 and repeating the tech from then onwards?!
