Your adaptive eye comfort tips are hilarious, first you say you want it turned on at the night during the day. Makes no sense, it also has no effect on battery life. If you have adaptive on, it'll make your battery life worse.
I just got my brand new S24 Ultra and I'm at the point in my life where I don't stress about batteries as I found that I tend to upgrade every 2 or 3 years where batttery degradation is very minimal. So just use the phone as intended and charge when you can. But do still build a mindful battery care habits but don't sweat the small stuff.
Couldn't agree more. Ppl today but such powerful and convenient devices, only to strangle them for the sake of a few minutes to hours of battery life. Put a charger in multiple areas of your home and in your car. Just enjoy your device in all of it's capacity and plug it in here and there where and when you can. Even easier if you invest in high wattage plug in chargers as well as a magsafe case and charger.

Well, just a quick 100-0 test. The phone was off the charger at 7:30 am and went flat at 9:30 pm, with 6 hours and 30 minutes of screen-on time. I know it doesn't sound that impressive, but for my usage scenario, it has blown me away. It's a stunning phone.
Thanks Jimmy. This is why you're good at what you do.
Late comment but battery protection that charges to 90 and than to 100% is actually more harmful than just turning it off l, using only 80% is not bad.
Try to change 5G to 4G network and change performace profile to Light. It helped me a lot. Now its like 8-10%battery SOT per hour. And phone finaly is not getting hot when playing games or watching youtube. And i didnt noticed any slowdowns or stuttering.
You must be doing something wrong. I am taking 7-8 hours of SOT, on my s23 ultra, after 6 months of usage , no dark mode, no powersaving mode and so on. And it is allegedely less efficient than s24 ultra.
@@prodromosregalides3402some people always get more battery and time on screen than others with more usage. I thought over the years that I get less because of the exynos, but last time I specially got the S22 Ultra from the US with the Snapdragon. With these tips, the phone lasts even longer. I charged the phone at 2pm yesterday and it's currently at 61% at 11.15am. Thanks Jimmy, you really are promo 😂
I never charge my phone to 100%. Even when I had an iPhone 15 Pro Max, I would charge my phone to 70% and never let the battery level fall below 25%. Eye comfort shield (reduction of blue light) will also reduce the likelihood of suffering with wet macular degeneration. Liked and subscribed!
Thanks, Jimmy for the tutorial. My battery consumption is 3 times better than it was. I now get 5 days before I have to charge battery when before I would have to charge every 2 days!
I've gotten 36 hours on mine. With only plugged in too and from work just for Android Auto for about 30 minutes each. So it was awesome! Never have I had a phone that would last PAST a full 16 hours without having to plug in.
I run everything at 100% all the time. I do not use any battery saving settings and have about 20% battery left after a 12hr shift. Trading in my Ultra every year for the current model lets me not worry about battery degradation.
i want to ask about my 24 ultra battery usage , i use it on my work with 2 apps finding me orders gps spotify bluetooth on but screen brightness on 1% bcs of night , also i have hd screen 60 hz and generally everything on low so i can work without charging it 2 or 3 times. Is it normal to use 75 % of battery on 6.5 hours of usage?
I took mine off charge at 6 am, it's now 23.45 and on 49%. Only thing I do is adaptive, which stops charging at 100 %, I have it on full QHD, blutooyh always on and connected to watch 6 classic, data always on auto brightness, I don't limit the processor, I don't believe in buying a phone like this and throttling it. Battery life is excellent as it is.
You can also create a Routines toggle that turns on airplane mode (to turn off the cell radio) then turns on wifi. I use this when I'm home or at work and it saves a ton of battery. Messages and calls still come through.
I've actually found that i save more battery when adaptive power saving is off as well as the Wi-Fi power saving, I'd see if that makes any more of a difference for you too

Hi @jimmy question, this is the first time I used the S24 ultra in regards with the battery protection since its my 1st night using the phone is it safe to use the basic or go with 80 percent option? Thank youuuu
What happened to never charge more than 80% or letting the battery discharge below 20%. I maintained that discipline on my Samsung Note 20 ultra for years before getting the S24 and I never experienced battery degradation. So is it ok to charge up top 100%?
You can do what you would like. Some can't be as disciplined as you or too busy to carry that charging schedule. This adaptive is really for those who "don't care" but want to haha
I bought an S24 Ultra about a month ago. When I ask other people who use the S24 Ultra, they say their charge lasts for around two days, but mine doesn't even last for a full day. Can you please tell me the cause of this?
Keep it on battery saving mode also get at least a 45 watt charger it takes up to 60 I think. Don't use crap wall block or cord. Close all your tabs in chrome browser plus make sure your updating apps only on wifi I take off auto updates as well. Make sure your phone us updated and check it weekly. Thanks awesome video, 2 questons, does fast charging afects the battery performace? and second, I have 2 lines on my S24U, does that affect the battery life? I´m not having great SOT numbers .😞
I have been using the same 25W charger and original USB-C cable. Fast charging is off. Charging with cable. Battery Protection: Maximum Earlier, it used to take 1h50m but since a couple of days it is showing 50m to charge. Battery health seems to be okay. Any idea why?
The battery needs to learn your usage patterns and until then you may see an increase in battery usage. Don't worry, it will learn, adapt and optimise. Check back after 1-2 weeks of usage
Buy a charger for home use, buy a charger for work. Use your phone to it's maximum potential or don't buy a high end phone at all if all you're gonna do is limited use just to keep it in prestine condition.
I need to know if when I got this phone I used Smart switch to transfer all my data I heard it drains the battery I don't know if that's true or a myth but my battery does not last a full day I charge it at least three times a day
I have an iPhone 13 pro and this last an entire work day barely with 4 hour screen time. Hopefully the s24 ultra will be better and get like 6-7 hours of screentime
On iPhone There is something called background app refresh And i always Turn That off is there something similar on galaxy ? I just switched from à 13 pro max now i have s24 ultra

A note about battery guardian. It apparently is not available in Canada, which, uh. Is a little sad.
Hi I was unable to find battery and good guardian. Is it possible to share a link?
Where is good gardians..not show in store
Not sure why Good lock/Good Guardians are region specific apps. Not available in the South African Samsung Store. We all have the same S24 Ultra.
What country store can I download Samsung good guidance application?
Good guardians app not available in store for me. What to do?
I have been using the same 25W charger and original USB-C cable.
Fast charging is off.
Charging with cable.
Battery Protection: Maximum
Earlier, it used to take 1h50m but since a couple of days it is showing 50m to charge.
Battery health seems to be okay.
Any idea why?
I just got my S24 Ultra, and my battery life is horrible! I'm going to try these tips out.
The battery needs to learn your usage patterns and until then you may see an increase in battery usage. Don't worry, it will learn, adapt and optimise. Check back after 1-2 weeks of usage
Mine was horrible too when i got it until it learned my usuage. Now my s24 ultra battery is the bomb. Give it 2 weeks
I tried swithing to Light. But I do not have the performance shortcut to switch it back to standard

The Adaptive Power Saving, annoys when used to play?
Doesn't apply to games
is it Malaysia Region cant use Good Guardian app ?
Buy a charger for home use, buy a charger for work. Use your phone to it's maximum potential or don't buy a high end phone at all if all you're gonna do is limited use just to keep it in prestine condition.
Getting the new folks caught up 😎
Yep yep!

I need to know if when I got this phone I used Smart switch to transfer all my data I heard it drains the battery I don't know if that's true or a myth but my battery does not last a full day I charge it at least three times a day
Have you found a solution for this case?
Is it worth it enabling 'Suspend Execution for Cached apps' in developer options?
No. Especially since you have no idea what it does.
@@belphegor_dev it clears the cache of unused apps
