Wish my best friend was still alive to have fun times like this and Build things like this together. Man I miss you so much every day. You left this world to early . Wish you could see what I’ve done with my life and see my kids . Tomorrow it will be 26 years since you left me and it still feels like it was yesterday.
How well did the 5200 and bolts hold up? I did the same exact thing with carriage bolts, and also I used aluminum angle to bolt the jetski to the transom. When I water tested the boat, the whole main seam leaked. I should of tested it before I did all that work. I'm going to restart and definitely water test the hull first. Does this hold up well with rocks and downed trees?
Awesome dude. I built my boat and it doesn't look as good as mate's bought one but when you tell people that you built your own the credit you get back is worth the imperfect welds.
I see people doing these swaps and have been curious about doing one myself. One question I ask is why don’t people weld in a new intake and motor mounts vs attaching the cut up jet ski hull and putting it into the boat. I feel it’s much harder is it not?

intakes are extremely expensive. Jet ski hull is free and works just as good
