The 3-11 doesnt really compare to the Mono really. I have sold it because it lacked power, had way to much rear grip, understeered and quality was mediocre. Mono is awesome, but very closely followed by the Atom which is lightyears cheaper to buy and run. I bought an Atom 4 now with a big spec incl sequential gearbox, half price of the Mono and 90% of the dedication. Mono will always be King though
@@RoyzGarage So I guess the Atom is the way to go! Looking forward to getting a special toy like yours in the future! What is the delivery time of the 4?
@@MatteoPolpi 3 years, but mine will arrive first quart of 2023. And you are right, the Atom is the best price/quality. Budget unlimited though, always Mono
Do you always keep it trickle charging when you are not using it? When you park in your garage do you use the handbrake or do you just leave it in gear to prevent the handbrake sticking? Thanks for answering so many questions :) Like you I only have a single garage, currently it has gym equipment in it and I have an Aston Martin N430 on my driveway, but I've been thinking of remodeling the downstairs of my house in 2-3 years time and getting something without a roof for the garage, probably an Atom, Lotus 3-11 or a Mono.
I keep it trickle charged allthough its not actually necessary as it has a main power cut off in the dash, so it cant use any of the power. I do this as these cars get used much less as cars with roof. I dont use a gear or handbrake as my garage is level, but would use a gear if it wasnt rather than handbrake. Often times my brakes are hot when parked in the garage. I would opt for an Atom I think. Best of all worlds and not too pricey
@@RoyzGarage Thanks for the reply and for the advice. Now that you've owned an Atom, 3-11 and Mono (that I am aware of) I'd be interested in a video explaining what you liked/didn't like about each car. I've heard that the Atom is quite unstable at speed and a handful to drive quickly, so while it's cheaper I'm no Ayrton Senna so that put me off a little. I'd also be interested in a video going over why you swapped the Mono for the 3-11, I know you've had many questions to that effect so it'd be interesting to put that to rest once and for all. Finally, if you're looking for more video ideas, going through what other mundane cars you own that presumably you have compromised on to keep money aside for the nice ones. I think there can be the false perception that if you own one nice car everything has to be premium, when if I can make an assumption my guess is you are not a millionaire. In my case I have a great job so I can afford the Aston Martin because I also have a Honda and a Skoda as daily drivers :) Thanks for all the open top motoring videos, certainly lots of content for people like me who are thinking of exploring this in the future.

Mono is the best driving tool ever, but the no compromise idea is not the best as a “1 car hobby”, it is far better if you can swap it for a little less hardcore car once in a while and still be fast. I didnt have that budget to buy something on the side so decides against it. Now I can have 2 cars next to each other, because Mono is very expensive and these are less expensive. So mostly 💰. I owned the dream and I’m good with not owning it anymore
Thanks for sharing and tour of netherlands!
It’s no hw1, but you’ll have to settle with this👌🏻
Hello! How does it compare to the Mono? Which one is the best one among this, the Atom and the Mono? These machines are insane
