Good info. Shanks for sharing!
You're welcome John! Thanks for supporting man
Often I use the environment as a backdrop for my close up portraits. For example, I will use the side of an old truck for the color and texture. Just have a little distance between the model and the background and shoot wide open. This makes a beautiful portrait and brings in the over all mood of the location.
I like too much your photos, i met your work from instagram. Greetings from Chile 📸💜
Thanks for supporting Felipe!!!
Thank you for recommending photographers and a book for further learning

I needed this video!! My posing game is weak 😂
Try these tips out Shawn and let me know how it works out.
Not as weak as mine 😂😭
Not as weak as mine 😂😭
In addition to this I carried pictures of poses I find interesting for the model to to do. It cuts down needless poses. To me its faster to get down to what counts and move on.
For sure man! I do that with client shoots.
Very interesting,thank's
Thanks Marcos!
Do you recommend a black or dark chair. I have a white chair that I thought I might try but im think the white cause some possible issues with highlights or reflecting light. What do you think?
Honestly I would decide the on the color based on the wardrobe and location Tyler :)
Gracias por cada consejo y los nombres de los otros fotógrafos.
You're welcome Alonso! :)
Thank you for your tip
You're welcome!
Amazing
Thank you so much Elliot! :)
I'm terrible at posing, especially what to do with hands. I will try these out!
Let me know how it works out James!
Awesome video! What’s your bread and butter camera/lens??
SonyA73 with Sigma 35mm or Tamron 28-75mm
Great tips. Thanks. By the way, I call the "jacket bellow the shoulder" > "topless" or "bust half naked" :-)
Thank you!
Hey, some great tips on thus video, but one little thing stood out to me. When you mentioned finding a black car in your environment and getting your model to lean on it, I'm sure you got permission from the owner, but I think you should have mentioned that. It's very important and something a lot of photographers don't think of!
Great point! The location for the car was in front of a tire shop. We have met the owner multiple times when we shoot there. He is always nice enough to allow us to shoot at his shop.
🖤🖤🖤🖤
Thanks for the love!
Thank you
You're welcome George!
You're the best
Thanks man!
can you make a video on your lighting technique ?
Hopefully in the next month or two.
can i bay ths actions by mastercad???
Yes sir!
Can you do a video on how you are re-touching the models to make their skin tones softer? (if you don't already have one)
I have a full edit video plus a frequency separation video that should help. :)
@@EliInfante thanks for the rapid response. I have subscribed and will search for the video. Thanks again 😊
I really struggle with posing, will try these out. Thanks! and more more and more tutorials please xD
Awesome dude! Let me know how the tips workout for you!
Which laptop you uses for after shooting work ???
Look behind him
HP Spectre 360
Flashing protons and electrons at a gas station. Great idea!
Lmao!
Can you do tips on how to charge clients?
I'm not expert in charging for clients but its something I can look into.
📸🎬🎥
Yes sir!
locations??
I've had enough of the old hands in pockets, and slung over the shoulder jacket poses. Hands behind head, on hips, out to side, folded behind the back etc. is way more creative.
No pos la cague wey!
Make some tutorials about posing rules
Animate hacer unos cuantos en Español!! Saludos desde Honduras.
I'll try Fernando :)

Thanks Stephen! I'll check it out man!
One tip is to hire an actual working model and have them teach you some about posing. The usual wannabe models don’t have much to offer you and need a lot of direction.
If you are working with clients that aren't models, this is when learning to pose people comes in handy. Stop working with people that calls themselves models and don't know how to freaking pose... A model should know how to pose just like a photographer should know how to use his/her gears. Try working with real models and you won't have this issue, avoid models wannabe. unless you are willing to deal with all that crap.
Dr_L33 Tv Thanks for the comment! I work with clients all the time. I photograph all the sports teams at my school from 7th -12th grade. The most difficult people to pose are the middle school students. In addition to that I photograph faculty who DON’T want to be photographed all school year hahaha. Trust me if you actually knew me you would know that I don’t only work with models. If you have any concerns feel free to email me and I can show you my client work. 😁
I wasn’t directing that to you specifically but more towards the general audience. Like I mentioned, you only really need to learn to pose if you are dealing with regular clients that aren’t models. But your demonstration pointed more towards models. And most new photographers and models wanna be have this notion that photographers are responsible for posing models. No we are not. A model should know how to pose and the photographer should only make small adjustments. In the real world that is. But then again this is UA-cam were %90 of the info on here are fake or people tryna up their view counts without doing in depth research. Either way, carry on sir you are doing an amazing job!
Dr_L33 Tv Thanks man very true! 😁
maybe you should try not posing once in awhile. But instead try a lil bit of natural poses meaning: take pictures of the model in the calm state, when there drinking a beverage or fixing there hair, reading a book or even laughing. just a thought.
IanJackson33 I agree man! That’s something I want to work on in 2020 😁
