They were once kicked out and as they were straying in the blizzard, one of them started praying and Venti appeared before them, offering them shelter. Venti also tend to sleep without control over what he does. Whenever a major crisis in Mondatadt happens, he will always appear, but he also only appears during such periods. Once the crisis is solved, he is likely forced back to sleep
There’s actually a popular theory out there about Mondstadt and Khaenri’ah being one whole nation at some point in the distant past. They are also both heavily inspired from Germany. Another point to be noted is that the name Khaenri’ah literally means ‘betrayal of wind.’ So, Something has definitely happend between these two nations in the past as just like Dainsleif said and I quote ‘The war has already begun, It’s just a continuation of past battles.’ Not to mention about the fact that Albedo,Kaeya and even we met Dain in Mondstadt first. And the Abyss directly attacking Mondstadt instead of the other nations. Yup, Trust me when I say this but the final arc of the game will start in Mondstadt and end in Khaenri’ah.
Also, Khaenri'ah's King Irmin is heavily based off of Odin, who was also a god of poetry and was known to go into extended periods of Odinsleep. Not to mention that Khaenri'ah's top alchemist now works as part of Venti's ADHD analog to the Fatui, and is essentially letting him look after her son after he had helped kill a previous son.

There's a recent theory that Venti is hiding a secret that involves within Stormterror's lair and Decarabian remains and was sealed by Venti under the bottom of the tower, and also, it will revealed on his Part 2 Story Quest where we get to battle Decarabian as a weekly boss.Another would be that Decarabian might be still alive and is now the reincarnated Anemo Sovereign, who was sealed under the Old Mondstadt tower. However, with lack of clues and evidence given by Hoyo, these theories is most likely wont happen, but hey Hoyo is full of surprises when it comes to story lore. This is just all speculation though.
Decarabian is a god and always described as one, even an archon before archons. Although I have a theory that he may also have wielded elemental authority before his passing, hence the crumbling of a divine throne.

Something that I dont see a lot of people talking about, is the fact that we don`t know when Khaenri`ah will actually come out. We know that Snezhnaya is Act VI aka. Act 6, but in the interlude we dont actually SEE which Act Khaenri`ah will be. Thats why I believe very much that we`ll go to Mondstadt after Snezhnaya, rather than going to Khaenri`ah directly.

For the duration between Snezh and Khaen we already have the teaser A Winter Night's Lazzo Teyvat Chapter Interlude- Interlude being the keyword. I speculate that since it focused on the Fatui, it's gonna be mainly focused on their plans. Some stuff related to what will happen- 1. Pantalone will make the Northland Bank the true source of transaction and Mora will be valued less. 2. Dottore is the Rene/Remus/Deshret of the Current plot, and he will probably burn the Irminsul then, and maybe even use the Gnoses to create a culmination of human consciousness from Irminsul to create a god/Descender (since he was only experimenting with Scara and not making him a fully fledged god) 3. Capitano will be the vanguard of the battle against CELESTIA (perhaps dottore will turn him into a god/Descender) Anyways now for the bard that I wanna punch becuz of how he pretends to play dumb. I have two very sus things that I need the answers to- 1. Venti leveled the mountains near Starsnatch Cliff, some he chucked in the GAA, but some parts r still on the surface of the ocean, and 'coincidently' one is the Time Dial of ISTAROTH and the other the Pilos Peak (Musk Reef). I believe he purposefully let them be on surface. I expect the land in the water to rise and give us a new area around the whole east of Mond (which will include Musk Reef and the Nameless Isle) kinda like how GAA was raised from under the water. 2. Mora had value because Liyue is the main hub of commerce. It has the richest people there. Mora is not just used just cuz Zhongli made it, it is backed by the economic power of Liyue. If Pantalone would want to take over Mora as the central currency, he would have to be economically stronger than Ningguang.
According to toki alley tales- kitsune are not native to inazuma and if you read the book fox in the dandelion sea you will notice that the book talks about white foxes that can shape shift into women….. and kitsune saiguu who is a predecessor to yae miko was actually a pure white kitsune… I believe these foxes migrated to inazuma and came to be known as youkai. I think we will get more clues on it when we get the dandelion sea expansion
I find it curious that the star design on the floor of the cathedral in Mondstadt is almost identical to the one all around where the fatui meet in the winter nights lazzo...
A lovely video! I was waiting for this and it makes me more excited for a Mondstadt expansion. I feel like another potential storyline falls from the events that happen in Eula's story quest. We see a member of the Lawrence Clan try to collaborate with the Fatui to return Mondstadt to the Aristocracy. Since Eula was released a long time ago (and only "recently" got a rerun), her story quest tends to be forgotten but the idea that there are members of the Lawrence Clan trying to reinstate the Aristocracy is a hint. If there's a potential for this to happen and now Barbatos is actually awake to bear witness to it rather than having to be awoken by the cries of the people as it is already happening (remember, we don't know why he has to be dormant at times and in the manga, he helped Vennessa free Mondstadt as soon as he did awake) how would he handle it this time? This could also place his anonymity into jeopardy as he would have to ultimately reveal who he is in order to handle the situation. He would also have the Traveler, Jean and Diluc on his side this time around (and there is a certain irony in this considering the history of the Gunnhildrs and the Ragnvindrs). Remember, Barbatos is an archon that does everything on a hidden note. He was going to even attempt to cleanse Dvalin's corruption on his own as soon as he awoke. He does everything so hidden that most including the fandom itself, thinks he is lazy despite the game itself proving that all of that is a lie. I'm not saying he is perfect, but a lot of the misconceptions of Barbatos can easily be disproven.
I don’t think the Fatui are too concerned with their relationship with the “usurper” archons enough to send someone to basically apologize to venti for kicking him in the gut lol. The harbingers seem of similar mindset to khanrians, and while they’re willing to take the path of least resistance to get a gnosis like being cordial with Zhongli and Nahida and even Neuvillete, it’s obvious they’re not above disrupting a nation and an archons or even dragons will to get what they want. I think while they could have negotiated with venti, the Taritsa’s treatment of him is likely personal and I think it has something to do with the cataclysm and maybe what venti did or did not do. It’s also interesting that venti is basically hosting rhindottir’s creation Albedo in his nation even though her other creations or what she released from the abyss were what the archons were probably tasked to subdue in the cataclysm.
Since lawrence clan burn tons of book,perhaps there's ton we dont know about mondstadt,maybe a new character (could be playable),the Black castle from the beta map,Dandellion sea (perhaps it exists but since lawrence clan destroys almost all book about monstadt,the info about it became so scarce that it became a legend/myth),and maybe many more

Another great video! Crazy how many ideas and characters planted at beginning of the game are still lore relevant and possibly end game. I feel like due to the spiral abyss we should get kharenian lore at some point. I'm also banking on diluc's dad being the 10th harbinger who betrayed the fauti. In general tho we need more seelie and moon sister lore so maybe there could more ruins in Mondast whenever we get dorman port.

Probably related to what he said about archons get their power from people's faith. He has a church and a religion dedicated to him, even ascended to godhood after being seen as the deity that fought with the rebels to free Mondstadt from Decarabian. Following his words, that's should be enough power to maintain his shapeshifting. In the other hand, it is never mentioned that his change is reversible. It's said "reconstitute" himself, in a sense he recreated himself a new form and probably is incapable of returning to his former wind wisp form

Maybe because that whole thing about Gnosis being the power center of an archon was definitively debunked in 4.2? The gnosis are the remains of the third Descender, and basically a connection with Celestia. They have nothing to do with the Divine Throne, which is based on the primordial authority of the sovereign dragon of the element. In fact no archon (Except Hydro) has lost their Elemental Authority so far, not even Venti. Which by the way, speaking of story 4 of Venti. What is implied in it is that Descarabian somehow managed to gain control of the primordial Anemo authority and built his own divine throne, and when he was defeated the wind spirit Barbatos claimed it for himself, becoming a god and becoming candidate to win the Archon war.
Wild theory that’s most likely not true, it would be funny if Khaenri'ah was the whole Teyvat like the upside down in Stranger Things, and that the secret is after our journey is over, the Teyvat is supposed to be destroyed and a new Teyvat is born on top with a new time loop which happens over and over again, and that’s the whole forbidden knowledge 😆 and we know the entrance to Khaenri'ah is in sumeru and maybe another entrance is under mondstadt
I don’t think we will get the Mondstat area expansion or Venti Second story quest until we are ready to head to Sneznaya. We know Varka’s expedition went to Sneznaya, I’m assuming to help the Tsarita, as Mondstat is hosting a bunch of the Fauti diplomats, that didn’t leave after Rosalyne took Venti’s gnosis. We also know that Varka and Capitano have met and seemed on friendly terms. I think the path to the Land of Ice will be through Mondstat and we will find out what exactly Varka and the knights of Favonius (plus Kaeya's horses) are doing so far from home.
Also Silicon i expect some kind of dragonspine event again with Albedo,Minslef made a Decorabian theory video that he will be a weekly boss(cause he seems to be alive but sealed) and maybe lore on Vanessa too
Since the Fontaine quest after Focalors took the axe, right after when we see the blue light of hydro and Neuvillette gaining his full dragonhood-I've seen no one mention how we see that same light but anemo colour when Venti gives it to Dvalin before telling him he's free and doesn't need to protect Monstadt anymore. I'd like to believe in that moment Dvalin was given his full dragonhood too and that made him the new dragon sovereign of anemo (since Neuvillette wasn't a full dragon till given his dragonhood back).
That's just false speculation. Wright after venti did this devolin said“ but I am no longer part of the four winds" indicating that venti did this in the past too.
I really like your theories but I just think the idea of the other archons giving their powers back to the dragon sovereigns now is not a good ideia, for Focalor to do this without awakening the heavenly principles required a plan that took literally centuries to achieve, if the others simply do the same now would be a huge detriment to the value of Fontaines archon quest, besides if they just pulled a "uh but actually, each archon conveniently have ways of doing the same thing this whole time" it would be straight up bad writing, maybe that happen during or after the fight against Celestia but I don't think it should happen before that.
Well, we dont even now that other sovereigns are alive or not. So its very unlikely to happen. Also Celestia is kinda half dead during last 500 years, they havent do anything yet about Neuvillette gaining his authority back, and also Fatui collecting gnosis which are important objects.
I could understand the other Archons being able to find other ways to deceive Celestia, but the amount of energy Focalors needed to destroy the Hydro throne to give back the stolen authority within isnt something you can just pull from your back pocket. Weve also never seen an Archon give up their seat without dying (i really dont believe Zhongli did so) so there is a chance that they cant simply one day decide to give up their divine seat. They can give up ruling their nation but the divine seat? Probably not. I would assume that the destruction of the divine throne of Hydro is what killed Focalors. If thats the case then it poses a problem for the other Archons. This is a lot of ifs though.
I'd hope that by this time Varka would've come back from the expedition and we finally learn what he meant in his letter about the secret between Mondstadt and Snezhnaya and I also hope by this time the Hexenzirkel members finally appear By the way love the video!

Actually Venti and the others can't give the sovereigns back their power anymore, because the "authority" of the sovereign is housed within the gnosis which they no longer have.
I suppose you haven't completed the fontaine storyline and even if you did, i won't spoil anything but it was clear from it that gnosis doesn't hold the authority but the throne of the archon does which is kind of represented by that archon themselves.
@@ayushyadav6576 my point still stands because the gnosis is the access to the throne in celestial, and they don't have the gnosis Yes I have completed the Archon quest, Focalor had the gnosis, which is why she was able to do any of what she did. Without it, she wouldn't have been able to, so something small like this is rather trivial to the point being made. You would still need the gnosis to return the power to the sovereign, because it gives access to the "authority" Venti said himself " the gnosis allows archons to resonate with celestia" and thus the throne. Now the hydro gnosis can no longer do that, cause there is no throne.

I always thought the dandelion sea was a metaphor for death/limbo/the afterlife. If it was in some way related to kaehnriah (??spelling??) Im not clued up on lore tho but since the flowers from kaenriah are not found anywhere else in the world dandelions could be used to explain their appearance and teh dandelion sea could be talking about the field of flowers from the trevails trailer? Again not sure on the lore but I just dont think the dandelion sea is a physical place. Your scrips have improved a lot in the last few videos its great to see your improvement over time :)
Off topic but regarding the statue of God of Time, is there any evidence that it does belong to her and not to Raiden Shogun in the lore, like is there any notes or dialogue that confirms that? I hope to find some answers because someone told me that there’s a npc that says that it belongs to the archon but I’m not sure…
It's just a common theory that the statue depicts Istaroth. It doesn't resemble Ei or Makoto, but it fits the style of the Barbatos Statue in Mondstadt.
What I'm more intrigued about is why the heck all characters even the ones coming out recently have a "when it's windy" line and some of them don't. Like for sumeru characters we have a "in the desert" line but that's understandable since they're from sumeru and would likely go to the desert at some point, but the windy line just makes no sense to me lol
I was focusing mainly on the plotlines of Harbingers, Archons, and Sovereigns for this video. By this point though, I think the expedition members will have returned.

Has anybody realized that all archons were gods before becoming archons besides Venti? You might be able to make that claim that Venti was already the god of hope as he was described as a "Seed of hope" but if he really was already a god why did he refer to himself as a weak wind spirit?
What's even crazier is Venti called the "God of Hope" by Neuvillette. That's pretty telling.

Anyways now for the bard that I wanna punch becuz of how he pretends to play dumb. I have two very sus things that I need the answers to-
1. Venti leveled the mountains near Starsnatch Cliff, some he chucked in the GAA, but some parts r still on the surface of the ocean, and 'coincidently' one is the Time Dial of ISTAROTH and the other the Pilos Peak (Musk Reef). I believe he purposefully let them be on surface. I expect the land in the water to rise and give us a new area around the whole east of Mond (which will include Musk Reef and the Nameless Isle) kinda like how GAA was raised from under the water.
2. His friendship with Hexenzirkel, which conveniently has one sinner of Khaenriah that created Durin, yet he is still in good terms with them. *sus*
Mora had value because Liyue is the main hub of commerce. It has the richest people there. Mora is not just used just cuz Zhongli made it, it is backed by the economic power of Liyue. If Pantalone would want to take over Mora as the central currency, he would have to be economically stronger than Ningguang.

According to toki alley tales- kitsune are not native to inazuma and if you read the book fox in the dandelion sea you will notice that the book talks about white foxes that can shape shift into women….. and kitsune saiguu who is a predecessor to yae miko was actually a pure white kitsune… I believe these foxes migrated to inazuma and came to be known as youkai. I think we will get more clues on it when we get the dandelion sea expansion
I find it curious that the star design on the floor of the cathedral in Mondstadt is almost identical to the one all around where the fatui meet in the winter nights lazzo...
A lovely video! I was waiting for this and it makes me more excited for a Mondstadt expansion.
I feel like another potential storyline falls from the events that happen in Eula's story quest. We see a member of the Lawrence Clan try to collaborate with the Fatui to return Mondstadt to the Aristocracy. Since Eula was released a long time ago (and only "recently" got a rerun), her story quest tends to be forgotten but the idea that there are members of the Lawrence Clan trying to reinstate the Aristocracy is a hint. If there's a potential for this to happen and now Barbatos is actually awake to bear witness to it rather than having to be awoken by the cries of the people as it is already happening (remember, we don't know why he has to be dormant at times and in the manga, he helped Vennessa free Mondstadt as soon as he did awake) how would he handle it this time? This could also place his anonymity into jeopardy as he would have to ultimately reveal who he is in order to handle the situation. He would also have the Traveler, Jean and Diluc on his side this time around (and there is a certain irony in this considering the history of the Gunnhildrs and the Ragnvindrs).
Remember, Barbatos is an archon that does everything on a hidden note. He was going to even attempt to cleanse Dvalin's corruption on his own as soon as he awoke. He does everything so hidden that most including the fandom itself, thinks he is lazy despite the game itself proving that all of that is a lie. I'm not saying he is perfect, but a lot of the misconceptions of Barbatos can easily be disproven.
I don’t think the Fatui are too concerned with their relationship with the “usurper” archons enough to send someone to basically apologize to venti for kicking him in the gut lol. The harbingers seem of similar mindset to khanrians, and while they’re willing to take the path of least resistance to get a gnosis like being cordial with Zhongli and Nahida and even Neuvillete, it’s obvious they’re not above disrupting a nation and an archons or even dragons will to get what they want. I think while they could have negotiated with venti, the Taritsa’s treatment of him is likely personal and I think it has something to do with the cataclysm and maybe what venti did or did not do. It’s also interesting that venti is basically hosting rhindottir’s creation Albedo in his nation even though her other creations or what she released from the abyss were what the archons were probably tasked to subdue in the cataclysm.
Your video made me think the dandelion sea is part of the nameless island. Its just underwater and the nameless island is a mountain tip of it.
Since lawrence clan burn tons of book,perhaps there's ton we dont know about mondstadt,maybe a new character (could be playable),the Black castle from the beta map,Dandellion sea (perhaps it exists but since lawrence clan destroys almost all book about monstadt,the info about it became so scarce that it became a legend/myth),and maybe many more
Hoyo seriously needs to give us a Mondstadt expansion before Natlan.

Perhaps the "lake" that surrounds fontaine is where Dorman port is located, or maybe a river up north that connects the sea with Fontaine

Another great video! Crazy how many ideas and characters planted at beginning of the game are still lore relevant and possibly end game. I feel like due to the spiral abyss we should get kharenian lore at some point. I'm also banking on diluc's dad being the 10th harbinger who betrayed the fauti. In general tho we need more seelie and moon sister lore so maybe there could more ruins in Mondast whenever we get dorman port.

that's from Venti's character story 4, proving that his feat of terraforming is thanks to gnosis as he gained the power after reaching the archonhood, now that he doesn't have it, is it still possible for him to do the same?
Tbh it's nowhere mentioned it's bc of the gnosis he was able to do that + if he was able to change mond landscape and change his appearance bc of the power flowing in his fingertips who u assumed it was a gnosis, wouldn't he go back to his original wind spirit form now?
Probably related to what he said about archons get their power from people's faith. He has a church and a religion dedicated to him, even ascended to godhood after being seen as the deity that fought with the rebels to free Mondstadt from Decarabian. Following his words, that's should be enough power to maintain his shapeshifting. In the other hand, it is never mentioned that his change is reversible. It's said "reconstitute" himself, in a sense he recreated himself a new form and probably is incapable of returning to his former wind wisp form
@@furishirogane3606 "the reversible" part is very unnecessary tbh, it's also never mentioned in zhongli's lore yet he can do it normally+ it's his original form a literal wind and he's a wind god saying that he's incapable of becoming a wind is hypocrite for him + even nahida found changing forms for some time is hard,also I'm not saying that he's powerful at all in the exact opposite since archons don't need only faith alone but fighting skills as well bc like Makoto and egeria they had a lot of faith but they weren't fighters so they ended up dying and venti lacks faith and fighting skills but it doesn't mean he lacks some trick and his power to imitate what he did in the past

The gnosis are the remains of the third Descender, and basically a connection with Celestia.
They have nothing to do with the Divine Throne, which is based on the primordial authority of the sovereign dragon of the element. In fact no archon (Except Hydro) has lost their Elemental Authority so far, not even Venti.
Which by the way, speaking of story 4 of Venti. What is implied in it is that Descarabian somehow managed to gain control of the primordial Anemo authority and built his own divine throne, and when he was defeated the wind spirit Barbatos claimed it for himself, becoming a god and becoming candidate to win the Archon war.
Hoyo only keeps Mondstadt around for events at this point
We could be told everything else about the Hexenzirkel. Since Venti knew them way back then.

Wild theory that’s most likely not true, it would be funny if Khaenri'ah was the whole Teyvat like the upside down in Stranger Things, and that the secret is after our journey is over, the Teyvat is supposed to be destroyed and a new Teyvat is born on top with a new time loop which happens over and over again, and that’s the whole forbidden knowledge 😆 and we know the entrance to Khaenri'ah is in sumeru and maybe another entrance is under mondstadt

I don’t think we will get the Mondstat area expansion or Venti Second story quest until we are ready to head to Sneznaya. We know Varka’s expedition went to Sneznaya, I’m assuming to help the Tsarita, as Mondstat is hosting a bunch of the Fauti diplomats, that didn’t leave after Rosalyne took Venti’s gnosis. We also know that Varka and Capitano have met and seemed on friendly terms. I think the path to the Land of Ice will be through Mondstat and we will find out what exactly Varka and the knights of Favonius (plus Kaeya's horses) are doing so far from home.
Also Silicon i expect some kind of dragonspine event again with Albedo,Minslef made a Decorabian theory video that he will be a weekly boss(cause he seems to be alive but sealed) and maybe lore on Vanessa too
Since the Fontaine quest after Focalors took the axe, right after when we see the blue light of hydro and Neuvillette gaining his full dragonhood-I've seen no one mention how we see that same light but anemo colour when Venti gives it to Dvalin before telling him he's free and doesn't need to protect Monstadt anymore. I'd like to believe in that moment Dvalin was given his full dragonhood too and that made him the new dragon sovereign of anemo (since Neuvillette wasn't a full dragon till given his dragonhood back).

Wright after venti did this devolin said“ but I am no longer part of the four winds" indicating that venti did this in the past too.

I really like your theories but I just think the idea of the other archons giving their powers back to the dragon sovereigns now is not a good ideia, for Focalor to do this without awakening the heavenly principles required a plan that took literally centuries to achieve, if the others simply do the same now would be a huge detriment to the value of Fontaines archon quest, besides if they just pulled a "uh but actually, each archon conveniently have ways of doing the same thing this whole time" it would be straight up bad writing, maybe that happen during or after the fight against Celestia but I don't think it should happen before that.
Well, we dont even now that other sovereigns are alive or not. So its very unlikely to happen. Also Celestia is kinda half dead during last 500 years, they havent do anything yet about Neuvillette gaining his authority back, and also Fatui collecting gnosis which are important objects.
I could understand the other Archons being able to find other ways to deceive Celestia, but the amount of energy Focalors needed to destroy the Hydro throne to give back the stolen authority within isnt something you can just pull from your back pocket.
Weve also never seen an Archon give up their seat without dying (i really dont believe Zhongli did so) so there is a chance that they cant simply one day decide to give up their divine seat. They can give up ruling their nation but the divine seat? Probably not. I would assume that the destruction of the divine throne of Hydro is what killed Focalors. If thats the case then it poses a problem for the other Archons. This is a lot of ifs though.
I'd hope that by this time Varka would've come back from the expedition and we finally learn what he meant in his letter about the secret between Mondstadt and Snezhnaya and I also hope by this time the Hexenzirkel members finally appear

Actually Venti and the others can't give the sovereigns back their power anymore, because the "authority" of the sovereign is housed within the gnosis which they no longer have.
No it’s housed in the archon throne the gnosis are just additional power that are from the remains of the 3rd descender
I suppose you haven't completed the fontaine storyline and even if you did, i won't spoil anything but it was clear from it that gnosis doesn't hold the authority but the throne of the archon does which is kind of represented by that archon themselves.

Yes I have completed the Archon quest, Focalor had the gnosis, which is why she was able to do any of what she did. Without it, she wouldn't have been able to, so something small like this is rather trivial to the point being made.
You would still need the gnosis to return the power to the sovereign, because it gives access to the "authority"
Venti said himself " the gnosis allows archons to resonate with celestia" and thus the throne. Now the hydro gnosis can no longer do that, cause there is no throne.

I always thought the dandelion sea was a metaphor for death/limbo/the afterlife. If it was in some way related to kaehnriah (??spelling??) Im not clued up on lore tho but since the flowers from kaenriah are not found anywhere else in the world dandelions could be used to explain their appearance and teh dandelion sea could be talking about the field of flowers from the trevails trailer? Again not sure on the lore but I just dont think the dandelion sea is a physical place. Your scrips have improved a lot in the last few videos its great to see your improvement over time :)

Off topic but regarding the statue of God of Time, is there any evidence that it does belong to her and not to Raiden Shogun in the lore, like is there any notes or dialogue that confirms that? I hope to find some answers because someone told me that there’s a npc that says that it belongs to the archon but I’m not sure…
It's just a common theory that the statue depicts Istaroth. It doesn't resemble Ei or Makoto, but it fits the style of the Barbatos Statue in Mondstadt.

What I'm more intrigued about is why the heck all characters even the ones coming out recently have a "when it's windy" line and some of them don't.
Like for sumeru characters we have a "in the desert" line but that's understandable since they're from sumeru and would likely go to the desert at some point, but the windy line just makes no sense to me lol

I was focusing mainly on the plotlines of Harbingers, Archons, and Sovereigns for this video. By this point though, I think the expedition members will have returned.

You might be able to make that claim that Venti was already the god of hope as he was described as a "Seed of hope" but if he really was already a god why did he refer to himself as a weak wind spirit?
