    I have only been a student for a year. It is like climbing a massive mountain and yet, even as an old man it is changing my life.

    To have a full recording of Ip Man's son demonstrating this form is such a gift to the world. For non-Cantonese speakers, here is a transcript of Ip Chun's narration, which adds beautiful context and depth to the video:
    ===========
    "Wing Chun is a system of Gung Fu based on using softness to subdue hardness. In other words, it allows us to use a small amount of force to confront an opponent with greater strength. To achieve this, the most important thing is to learn how to divert your opponent's force.
    This section of Chum Kiu utilizes 'Zuen Man' (turning stance) to accomplish this. The most important technique of this entire section is using one arm as Bong Sau, and another as Wu Sau, combined with the turning stance to divert your opponent's force. One of the most important things to note is not to use any force when executing your Wu Sau. Don't use your Bong Sau to push your opponent's hand away; rather, use it to keep your opponent's hand. Furthermore, stay relaxed in order to be sensitive to your opponent's movements, predicting your opponent's next move and preparing an appropriate response. This is most important.
    Chum Kiu's second section is a continuation of the first section. The focus of the first section is Bong Sau. The first section is performed by remaining stationary. The second section is performed by moving. Additionally, there is a kick in the second section.
    Chum Kiu's third section is identical to the second section. First, there is a kick. This kick is a forceful push forward, followed by three low Bong Sau. After the three low Bong Sau, you will Sau Kuen (close your form). Lastly, you will perform a side kick, with three Gum Sau, and then three punches, which completes the entire set of movements."

    Great video, interesting to see the inner jum sau in section 2, instead of the more common rising punch, I wonder what the application of this would be?
