14:00 please make that saying into a t-shirt, hoodie with some artwork like you lighting that thing or something!!!😂 The visuals of the flame from the camera is the same concept as filming car wheel spinning but on camera it looks like it’s just sitting still. It’s a shutter speed setting, frames per second. Keep up the great work, Brother💪🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏼
Brother, you have to reheat the fuel as seen in a previous invention of a spiral for water vapor, but instead of water it uses diesel or another fuel like the burners of hot air balloons.
Do you have a flame holder in there to give the flame core a spot to hide from the main air flow just a bit? Also, some rings of steel inside could be used to divide up the path of the flame while holding the heat near the center.
no. Crude oil is a mixture of lots of different stuff. Naptha is a certain part of crude oil that is light and would evaporate early in the distilling process. But it's not regulated and specified as close as i.e. Gasoline. If you cook crude oil and catch and liquify the gases coming from that, you get the main ingredients for gasoline first, then Jet-fuel (there are different types; it's complicated), then Diesel and then you are left with thick stuff that you would burn in ships or power plants. You never get these just as is; you still need to refine the liquids and do some magic for them to be in their specs. So to conclude: Diesel is not Jet fuel and not every heating oil is Diesel and Gasoline is not Gasoline, because there are different types of all of these (i.e. leaded Gasoline, Gasoline 95 octane, 2-stroke engines need oil in the gasoline and so on).
@@diapysik "Gasoline is not Gasoline is funny." Yeah but it is just as true as saying that not every alcoholic beverage is the same. Some of the parts are. And Naptha is many things but not gasoline
@@ABaumstumpf Well in general the terminology surrounding petroleum distillates is anything but consistent, however if you buy gasoline anywhere you can expect it to be lighter hydrocarbons and for it to ignite fairly easily.
Is this static in the barrel? It’s behaving like a pulse jet, I wonder if you could redesign to allow cool air to be introduced after the combustion, pulled in by exhaust velocity to stabilise the pulses, like a turbofan

It’s being banned in California if not mistaken, but by them banning it just adds more fuel to the fire for CARB to be eliminated by Federal oversight…

Man that’s so awesome

Naptha is gasoline without additives.
Correct me if I’m wrong, jet-A is just a clean diesel fuel without or a lot less additive for lubrication.
no.

What about a perforated liner for air only...
Is this static in the barrel? It’s behaving like a pulse jet, I wonder if you could redesign to allow cool air to be introduced after the combustion, pulled in by exhaust velocity to stabilise the pulses, like a turbofan
What is this used for?
I've had flames pulse like this, its a case of super rich fuel and leads t pulsing.
your neighbors have to hate you lol
the popping is a little scary, the front heated up fast after removing the piece

... bigger exhaust.
They are banning Naphtha
Really? I didn't think naptha was particularly problematic
No they’re not! Naptha will still be used long after we are gone. It’s one of the cleanest fuels that don’t put out harmful emissions
