It was found by accident by someone who saveloaded and walked into a prop by accident when performing Red letter day skip, they immediately reset and after that they had the glitch active. About a year later someone else managed to replicate it, and a consistent setup was eventually found. The stars had to align perfectly for this to be found.
If a player saves and loads the game while a physics object has an infinite origin, the game becomes super unstable. If you make 2 props touch each other in a specific way before it crashes, a failsafe implemented for the half life 2 demo at e3 2003 will trigger, and cause every physics object to lose collision. The result is that we can quickclip, as our havok bbox loses its collision ad well. Quickclipping like this is harder than with regular quickclips though due to the weirdness caused by the props and other physics objects not having collision either. The only way to get rid of the failsafe being active is restarting the game. The reason why a prop sometimes floats to an infinite origin when performing Red letter day skip or BBT in general isn't known but it sure is convenient that it happens.

bro why is your keyboard so *LOUD*
I intentionally bought a quiet one...
Im guessing you didn't have mic suppression
@@user-k5y8l I actually did. If I cranked it up any higher my voice would start cutting out.
@@peng939 hmm. i don't know what solutions to make it not detect your keyboard sound's while adapting the sensitivity to your voice
I guess I am one of those that enjoy loud mouse/keyboard sounds
⁉️
song at end of run?
