    I learned this in a video on UA-cam about a couple making “holographic wood” or was it chocolate. I’m not sure but it was entertaining and informative

    I’ve heard constantly that you can’t pour resin over a holographic resin surface. This doesn’t make sense to me.
    From your explanation it sounds like you just can’t topcoat on a holographic mold. I don’t even know how to ask my question! 😝
    I am a huge fan of yours and I’ve learned so much from you. You’ve also inspired a lot of my projects! So, thank you!! Yvonne

    i’m confused did i mishear you? You can’t pour over it or it’ll ruin the effect? so how do you do it

      When it's out of the mold. You can't pour clear over the holographic effect or it will disappear

      You can't pour Resin over the finished pieces, to do a clear top coat or embellishments

  • @muddeeewenched854
    @muddeeewenched854 9 днів тому +1

    Nope am confused by your answer. Do you mean you cant top coat your piece hence you saying you cant pour?

    • @naptimecreations
      @naptimecreations  5 днів тому

      No you CAN NOT top coat holographic items. The holographic will disappear

    Is it a one time use for holographic or every time I use it?

  • @hotsteelersfan

    Beautiful ❤. Can you use chameleon mica powder (brush inside of mold then add resin) on holographic molds or will that ruin the effect?

    • @naptimecreations
      @naptimecreations  Рік тому +3

      Thank you 💜 I wouldnt do that
      The brushing could scratch the holographic and then the Mold would be ruined

  • @jenniferthebxgirl7895
    @jenniferthebxgirl7895 Рік тому +1

    Omg I love those but I do have a question when you pour your resins on the mold doesn’t it come out after the first use? Or you can do it as many times and it will still come out holographic after multiple uses? Like you don’t have to put anything in it for it to come out holographic like that?

    • @naptimecreations
      @naptimecreations  Рік тому +1

      Thank you 😊 the molds are reusable over and over. The holographic effect is embedded in the mold you don't have to do anything extra to them. It works every time you make something in the mold.

    I've tried making holographic coasters a few times but whenever I touch the cured coaster the holographic effect disappears where I have touched it l, until I wipe it with some alcohol. Is there any way to prevent this?

    • @naptimecreations
      @naptimecreations  Рік тому +3

      Are you using a high quality mold? The cheap molds the holographic can rub off by touching it.
      Try holographic molds from this website. These are the ones I use

    • @naptimecreations
      @naptimecreations  Рік тому +2

      @Nahiyan Ahmed no problem, ya the amazon ones are bad quality to me. I have some too and use them for ornaments because those aren't handled a lot like coasters are.

    This is awesome !! Does the holographic effect in the mould last or does it where off ?
