Glad you finally got some satisfaction from them. It looks pretty nice, except for having to buy another plate. I need to look into mine, haven't even mounted one of them yet. Cheers!
Shot first match with it today. So far no issues. Hate that you had such a bad experience with Sigs customer service. I can't say single bad this so far.
See for a carry optic. The shake on seems like it would rock compared to that having to hit a switch. I hate that about my atibal red dot as well. But I guess if a train for it I can turn it on and off with my draw and stow training.
@@Baldcurious I think for that it works beautifully. But being a laymen ccw(non competitor)that scares me so much I peed a little just thinking about it 🤣them batteries ain't cheap 🤣
I’m shocked to see even tried making it right behind sending you a new one, they didn’t do shit for me when they had to replace my P3 65 barrel and lost my gun
Bald&curious They basically told me to screw off, after having sent my gun to the wrong address, they did absolutely nothing to make it right after making me wait another week and a half for them to ship it back and then ship it over to the pro shop
Sucks when you buy something and can't use it without having to buy something else. Even worse Sigs optic can't be mounted on a Sig pistol without buying a plate.
It's hard to say. It king of depends on optic and personal preference . I have hard time with Tijicons , usually I see 2 dots . This one works pretty well and so does the Holosun 507. Best net would be try bunch of them. Just ask guys at any match ,I'm sure they will let you have a peek thru their optics
I don't care about cowitnesing. As a matter of fact , mounting plate puts sight little higher , so I can't even see front sight. Even is i could I'd end up taking it off.

I hope you like that dot As much as I like my XL and I'm glad you got better service from them than I did

I was looking at the xl for my mpx is it larger than the max?
I'm thinkin about tryin a Romeo 5 red dot myself. I've heard only good thing's about them. Have you ever used one?
Yes , 2 moa on my PCC , really bright and crisp dot. PSA has them on sale now for around 160 buck , really excellent value
How would it hold up to a drop onto a hard surface. Doesn't look to be duty rated...
no clue and I don't plan on dropping it . It looks like made of aluminum and looks fairly sturdy
Hopefully it works out great for you 💥💥💥 .

I pretty much just turn it on on beginning of the match and turn off when done. Batteries are cheap and accessible from side :)

I'm newbie what does MOA mean? I am looking at the Romeo Max 3 one has a 3 MOA and the other 6 MOA. What does this mean?
Minute Of Angle , basically at hundred yard 1MOA is 1 " ,so 3 MOA dot will cover 3" target at 100 yards
Will trijicon rmr plate fit?
Honestly ,I don't know.
Come to think of it ,I don't think it will. This mounts directly without the plate , same pattern as DPP optic.

That's a shocker . SIGS Customers service was excellent so far

I think this was originally designed for regular X5.
What would be good for someone with astigmatism?

Is that the 6MOA?
Yes
@@Baldcurious Thank you for the response!
No built in rear sight! WTF Sig IMO bad purchase. I hope my Romeo 1Pro lasts longer than 200 rounds

Sig optics are made by Holosun, a chinese company
At least some of the models are
Jonathan Smith Not true
Was told these are made in Japan.
I have a Romeo 4T , when you remove the mount from the optic. Laser print underneath the optic , Designed and Built in Oregon
Holosun make good red dots. They have far more features and technology than Trijicon. I don't even think Trijicon have shake awake?
