Kevin Reid for sure I need to put up more videos for sure I've been slackin, already though gotta love the G Bodys, check us out on Face book if you get a chance Hub City G Bodys out of Lubbock, Texas we got a few Montes in the club
Has held up great! I drive my car as often as I can and I'm always on the switches, and I just replaced the original uni ball bolts a couple weeks ago.
@@bighungry4146 for sure man, theres a few companies that make tubular arms but definitely not one that will hold up to the pressure of hydraulics. The trick is to just overbuild them haha!
Just subscribed, awesome video! Is it ok to Three wheel with this uniball set up? I don't have a hopper but I want to upgrade to a three pump setup so I can three wheel but I'm curious if this will increase the stress on the uniball making it more likely to break. The car I'm working with is a 79 two door v8 malibu, had two pump set up when I got it (FBSS). Would love to Three wheel. Is your frame reinforced or wrapped? Im curious if I'll need a full wrap also.
Rahmel Freeman Hey thanks man, my car has a partial wrap (stress points) but as far as the uniballs yes you can three on them and they're stronger than a standard ball joint, you use a grade 8 (or higher) bolt in them so they're pretty tough, plus if one breaks, you just replace the bolt and ur good to go!
The frame has a "partial" reinforcement job done to it, so just stress points and a bridge in the back. As far as price goes I really dont remember it's been a while.
lima1774 the arms were really for the looks of it all the part that really helped was the uniball instead of the standard ball joint I love them for sure! I'll be doing tubular lower arms eventually to match up but they'll be designed to lower the car a little, extra strength, and to keep the coil in place
myself806 Im trying to avoid a frame swap. My lowers are aluminum and I want to switch to steel. I also gotta shorten them so my tires will tuck better. When I lay the car out, they toe out. It drives me nuts.
lima1774 I can definitely relate, my uppers were 3/4" extended before and they would butterfly in when I'd lock it up and i hated it haha, I went with 1 1/2" on these and i love the tuck, are you going to extend your uppers at all it'll definitely help with the camber issues
myself806 I'm bringing in the lowers about an inch and a 1/2, that Is going to extend the uppers perfectly. This frame is a real bitch to put hydro's on.
How much spindle fabrication did you have to do as far a the opening for the upper ball joint..i just purchased some BMH 3 inch hi lockups for my 98 Lincoln but dont know what else i need to do as far as modifications to a stock spindle, any recommendations
Squeaks like a door hinge👍
This is too dope bro! I love this view
Thanks man I appreciate it, I needa do an updated video of this for sure! Once it warms up most definitely tho!

That's definitely on the to do list haha!
How has it held up?
Has held up great! I drive my car as often as I can and I'm always on the switches, and I just replaced the original uni ball bolts a couple weeks ago.
Nice. I've been researching this for about a week. I see you thought of this already looks good.

where can i get sum for my 87 monte carlo
myself806. where can i get these for my 87 monte
Did u reinforce the frame? If so, how much did it cost?
The frame has a "partial" reinforcement job done to it, so just stress points and a bridge in the back. As far as price goes I really dont remember it's been a while.
wow amazing
I got a lowlife (2003 Lincoln towncar) and I'm gonna get some tubular lowers made. How have they helped up so far?

I'm not sure what the BMH uniballs require as far as modifications, would have to ask them on that one.
myself806 i just dont know if you had to drill a bigger hole on the top of spindle..did you have to make the hole bigger?
