I’m new to this so I’ve never heard of someone extending lowers. But you extend uppers to help with camber issues when you’re lifted/lowered and to relieve stress on the ball joints. If you extend both, you’ll just be basically right back to stock specs

Depends on what you’re doing. Typically, lay and play like I’m doing, you don’t need to reinforce the lowers. But if you plan on hopping, I’d recommend it. Better safe than sorry

Months later I had to weld a 3/16" plate under ball joint holes cause my holes were turning into an egg shape from hopping.
I don’t plan on doing a bunch of hopping so I hope I don’t have that problem lol
