On day 2 or 3 playing the game, I got lucky and won a free skin in Outlands, so I chose her Nordic (dodge) skin so I can keep her alive longer and dumped a bunch into that, it was very effective, now she stays alive for a long time.
Great video -- loved the general approach of here are two concepts (expensive / inexpensive heroes), here are concrete examples of each, and here is how a player can go look at any hero and get a good idea of where they fall on the "expense" scale. I think I'll be setting aside some more potions and skill points for Cornelius!
She was among the first tanks I got and I learned back then that she needed to be built up first. She was effective; however, attention shifted to another hero as - at that time - a new hero was released that required some building in order to earn rewards from the event featuring said hero. She's still used on and off on my main account and is my current focus on my newest account. My focus this time around is only going to be five heroes and she's one of the five.
Aurora "becomes" less and less useful? No, she already starts off terrible. She always dies, which means that you'll finish all campaign missions with 2 stars and cannot raid them. But she becomes great in a mage team, when you put in heroes that give magic atk and pen, such as Orion and Celeste, because all of Aurora's abilities benefit from that. I'd argue that Celeste is key because of the magic atk artifact and the spot healing that Aurora certainly profits from.
2 months later and got her to 50k, I run the devil skin just so my enemy knows that today wont be pleasant. Almost forgot to mention, buddy of mine told me to level up cain and link him with her. It really made her step up the aoe damage.

Once I got her artifact to star 3 she was protecting the rest of the group better than his shield did. Then when I gave her a pet to help her dodge even more non of the other tanks even came close. She is expensive in that you should give her a high percentage of the upgrades than the DPSes or healer. But if you do, she becomes a very viable tank at the end of early game start of mid game.

So Aurora and my twins have been sitting on the back burner for quite some time. I am very happy to hear that end-game Aurora is a strong tank, because I absolutely plan to build her and use her.
I just ultimated my mobile aurora right before the event started...I haven’t leveled her up otherwise though.... I always thought she died too quickly....considering leveling her soon.

im using corvus atm, going by stars primarily... did not yet get her. first day of playing, not sure if i will continue cos you need milion things to strenghten heroes
She's like a tanky damage dealer. I really like her green skill because of the stun. She becomes good once you unlock her nordic skin and put her into a team with at least three dodging heroes. I don't know why, but her soul stones are the hardest to get in the campaign.

I am relatively beginner but I like Aurora from the beginning because she looks really sweet and she belongs to the light from the start instead of most of the other heroes that seem demonic or whatever (I also like Galahad for the same reasons). So I am sticking up with her nomatter what and I will see what happens
I wonder how much it matters how well she is optimized with her team. For example, Aurora is the optimal tank to use for a nature team (mushy, alvanor, mojo, darkstar). If I put in a non-optimal tank (Astaroth) into that team, does that make Aurora more viable at an earlier phase of the game specifically in that team composition? I've been saving up skin stones, and have a skin scroll now, but I'm hesitant to drop a scroll and tens of thousands of skin stones into Astaroth who will eventually not be my main tank, and does not fit with most of the top meta teams right now (FART, undead, nature). I'm only at lvl 60 though, so this seems far too soon to invest in her?

It always confuses me when people call certain heroes expensive only be cause their soul stones are hard to get. I always look first at how many skins a hero has when trying to determine how expensive they are and usually the ones with the fewest skins are those with harder to get SS.
Aurora went from ok to great with the improvements. When she's built up she's a beast. I admit I wasn't sold on the improvements until I started fighting against her in arena, etc. Anyone else with me on this #DevsBuffZiri . Yeah, Ziri needs buffed to become competitive again.
I actually like her variety of skins! I find them some of the most creative, actually. Makes the hero versatile and very interesting to explore. I especially like undead skins and dark skins, those metal makeup skins, they're awesome!

I have already astaroth level 54 4 star with 3 skins but not full upgraded yet but im think to change it to aurora i have her with 4 star now and think about buy for her 3 skins and make them full upgrade then any one .tell me which better for mobile and btw my team is magic
I've got all my pets to blue, now I'm going to start promoting Cain since you really need him to make Aurora a good hero. Aurora don't really get good till you can invest a lot into her and Cain.
I went for astaroth coz u showed us he is one of best of tank ;) n still is in my opinion coz dont see much of morgan who is like anti to asta, but well as changes keep happening the hero we treat as trash turns out to be better one ,its the fun part of game.
Off-topic, but if ur having trouble with Yasmine, use Celestse. When Yasmine activates her ult, Celeste will attck HER with her magice attacks, and wreck her in 2-3 hits,
Now that they made the dodge mechanic viable, The question becomes: When Does Aurora's Character Design Grow on You, or does it ever? You get her very early in the game, and that almost made me quit.
i made a mistake gong for astha. he is valid and has its uses, but now im switching and invest into aurora. not sure if straight away going for aurora is making the game easier, bc she takes a while and in the beginning that can be frustrating. but certainly from mid to high end, i think aurora is better. always depends in your team ofc.
I totally thought Aurora was trash when I first started. But that's some high praise for Aurora! Decision decisions...my Aurora is only 27K right now. With my Karhk team I think Aurora would be a nice-to-have hero but not a must-have at this point for me. I have Ast already and focusing on Luther right now to counter Andvari.

I liked her very early and now like what I hear about her end game but stopped powering her around level 80 because she was DOA in mid level for me. SO now I am trying to get her back to speed.
I think she is good with max dodge glyph, max health glyph, 30+ dodge skin stones, and decent level strength glyph and skin, along with high level dodge artifacts
One day a courageous person came forward and dare to upgrade Aurora to the max and then he told us, Aurora is weak they said, she is not good for end games they said 👀
Only 1 person on my server uses arura and she is really hard to beat powered up but it takes soooooo much to get to that point I feel bad for the guy that invest everything in her from day 1 ..
An event is hardly enough not early not late only on a mage team can she become mediocre or just usable.Aurora got to get a lot better,to be worth to be picked.

Been thinking about this since I've started to farm Aurora's soul stones to work on her.

I started using Aurora on day one also, got a special event to stick Qing Mao with her, after leveling up dodge, they are a powerful pair!

I find that using Oliver in my Aurora team is constantly more effective than using Cain. I patron Cain to Aurora but use Oliver on the team.

Aurora is one of the hero's I invested a little in, but now wish I had invested a lot more into, she is a good tank for a dodge team.

Great hero, but considering the investment that you have to put in her i would rather go for a different tank such as Astaroth

Basically damage dealers need a ton of investment, tanks less so, and supports need the least.
Since Aurora's main mitigation is dodge, is she terrible against mage teams?
her purple skill solve that problem
She has the best mitigation versus magic heroes. At high levels she is the only tank who effectively mitigates magic damage at all.
Thats an interesting take. I only tried her during the start of the game and she was quiet underwhelming compared to Astaroth and Galahad

If you buy Aurora a dodge skin, she will not die, and she's the only tank(I guess?) that have dodge skill at first.

Cease with Galahad, he's a tank that tapers off early and is one of the worst tanks in the late game.
