I actually have a team that does really well. Astaroth, Celeste, Jorgen, Orion and helios. Depending on the team I'm facing I swap Helios out for counters against the opposing team. Like martha when facing Cleaver or Jhu, or put in Andvari when facing bob teams, etc.
This is a great video for F2P player. I came back to this one trying to remember the reason for Aurora being a good Tank for Orion. Orion+Dorian+Arachne+Satori+(Tank) is a good choice for F2P, mainly because Orion+Dorian+Arachne+Satori+Maya is a good choice for outland.
Just a thought, you'r Orion-Martha around the end combines Orion slowing down the enemy team for 4 seconds whilst Martha speed up allies for 5 seconds. In addition to Orion's speed ultimate repeatwith bonus energy, it'll rival Aurora's repeat ultimate on Facebook in a dodge team with Cane

Orion is one of my favorites and I pair him up w/ Dorian most of the time and then Nebula in front of him so she can boost him. I also like to add Helios if I can’t do Nebula but I’m not a fan of him in the 3rd position. Or add the twins w/ Galahad but again it puts Orion in 3rd position. I’m not an Aurora fan but I stopped leveling her a long time ago and I think they improved her but I have too many other heroes to work on to mess with her. I usually will pair him with Galahad as my tank 9x out of 10. However since he is like my 3rd or 4th strongest hero I’ve taken my top 4 heroes plus Martha to fight in arena and it’s Astaroth, K’arkh, Nebula, Orion and Martha...they have done some incredible damage to teams 50K-75K stronger than me.
I really like Orion paired with satori as I have my son building that team on his new account and it seems to be working well as they grow strong together
I know I am late but.... I like using Aurora with Orion. she is the only tank to do magic damage to take advantage of Orion's magic penetration. she adds dodge to the team and when upgraded is a excellent tank. I use Thea as my healer with Orion. She adds magic defense to defend against opposing magic teams and since a great Orion team is built around magic it will probably be facing magic teams. I like adding Nebula by Orion. She increases the attack of her neighbors and does a better job with magic attackers than physical attackers. To finish off I add a magic damage dealer in the two spot. The two spot so that Nebula can buff her/him as well as Orion. I want a magic user that buffs the team with magic attack to work with Orion's magic penetration. Any of them will do but I love Celeste. She's not a real magic DPS but her non-skill attack does magic damage and her skill "attacks" hinder the healing of the damage Orion does. Also I think that Nebula's buff could be aiding Celest's healing ability since the heal is based on magic attack.
Sorry Charlie, Celeste' artifact boost is only available for 1/2 the time because by it activated with 1/2 energy. Doesn't work well from my experience with Brogg.
I use orion as main damage dealer in both Facebook and Mobile. In Facebook I use Astaroth / Cheleste / Nebula / Orion / Helios (each patronage with pet's, helios with Axel patron and Axel as main team pet for two reasons. This team have high output magic damage and mostly kill the opponent in few seconds if not they'll be little squishy and for that reason Axel makes them much more faster by providing them extra energy which means orion pen and cheleste magic attack will be all the time active and helios really need them both to be a beast too. Especially helios is very great because in fb many in my server use Yasmine but also he can cunter a lot of other crit heroes like jhu/Sebastian/daredevil. I use almost same setup in mobile but because we don't have pet's there I use Astaroth/Nebula/ODH... Dorian is a must there except if you have a fully maxed orion & Cheleste and helios and Aurora to provide dodge... I wish to use aurora but she's very expensive. Maybe in the another life 😂

Satori against jorgen... Or any heroes who attack the back line first. But anyways Jorgen and Satori are two most hardcounters of Orion, first jorgen because he will block orion ult by stealing energy and in this way orion will be useless due to not activate his weapon artifact and satori because his fox will clear orion in a second and third hard counter is cornelius. His favourite opponent to kill are Cheleste or Orion with single shoot...
I have a 600k team with orion and judge and it sucks, but I don't care because I like orion and judge. I want to level Corvus and Morrigan and when I put them on the team, who should I put as the fifth hero so that my team does not suck as much? I will NEVER take Judge off my team. I love him. . . and I probably won't take Orion off either. Orion delivers a lot of damage while Judge is... erm... _subtle_ , as I will call him, but I'm not going to take him off.

Martha is not chest only if you manage to get access to the pet merchant. The heroes there are random but you can get Satori, Dorian etc.

Orion is the mist hero for Brog. Led astray earlier w/ Mojo, wasted a bunch of EXP potions. + DOH team is a strong team which is why it’s my #3 team.

Add Sebastian in to the team in this case. It negates Jorgen's "Torment of Powerlessness ," this making him less effective against Orion
Tank/andvari, Keira, nebula, Orion, Dorian/Thea is pretty useful

I use the same team but with Jet. Dorian works nicely, but Jet is a huge difference maker.

Peppy has magic penetration in mobile version. Jhu is the best enemy to defeat Orion.

So many good heroes to invest in, so little gold and xp pots.

Pretty much. But you'll need that ODH against any crit teams like the Keira shredder which obliterates K'arkh.
