    He has a wonderful voice, but unfortunately the poor tuning is detrimental. Hvorostovsky is Onegin. Listen to him for definitive performance.

    Historical voice. Only George Ots and Peter Mattei stand equal to each other. Nobody ever will surpass Caruso, and never ever will emerge voice comparable to these two.

      Mattei is a lyric/light baritone Hvorostovsky was a Kavilierbariton. Different, but both wonderful.
